It may be theologically debated on rather a Christian should support Israel. However, no matter what side you take, Israel will still be prophetically standing for the Revelation events to occur. Israel should be supported politically because they are the only nation in that region that promotes human rights, religious freedom, and a Democratic system of government where the people have the freedom to vote. Their counterintelligence on terrorist organizations is crucial for national security for America and our allies. Due to our aligned beliefs on religious freedom, human rights, and defense from terrorism, many in the middle east consider Israel and America the same. Both infidels and worthy of destruction.

Theologically it is debated because some believe the Old Testament verses like this one below to be obsolete.

Genesis 12:2-3
New International Version
2 “I will make you into a great nation,
and I will bless you;
I will make your name great,
and you will be a blessing.
3 I will bless those who bless you,
and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth
will be blessed through you.”

This is just my interpretation, but I know for a fact that nowhere else in scripture does it counter this promise. Nowhere is it canceled. The bottom portion of verse 3 was completed in Jesus Christ as all people on the Earth were blessed through Jesus's sacrifice. As for the fulfillment of the Old Testament, this is related to the demands of the Mosaic ceremonial laws, judicial laws, and completion of Old Testament prophecy.

I do not see where the promise of I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse, stops from being true.
it’s why the rest of the world is under the curse of Israel also when God sent them into the nations after they broke the covenant , the other nations oppressed and mistreated them and so the curse upon them spread to all nations which now we require salvation which is sent to all nations in the gospel

indeed israel should be supported by the world as a whole but it never will be on this earth those who curse Israel are all the nations they have been sent into throughout time since bc 600 or so what you concluded there is why the whole world is cursed Israel. Role the covenant and was cursed and the world a used and mistreated them and the curse passed on the world and assures that Christ is the only way

I believe politically we should support Israel but Biden and Obama never have supported Israel . About a third of the Democrat party is anti Israel some even blatantly so .

a couple of those younger Democrat confesswomen call
Israel a terror state that is oppressing palistine and committing terror acts when they defend thiers elves

I think that we should pay close attention to Israel’s state in this world a lot of prophecy revolves around it

i suspect figuring it out looks something like what @TheDivineWatermark helpfully put, in post #344
After I posted that, I went back and made a Search to try to find that post... and noticed that the post immediately preceding mine (by CharliRenee) had also put a similar thing (you or others may want to take a look at that, her Post #8, back in April 2019):

[my post] Post #9 - https://christianchat.com/threads/dan-and-ephriam-missing.184667/post-3912422 [with brief EDIT in Post #11, LOL]

CharliRenee posted similar, in her Post #8, just before mine (scroll up just one post, from Post #9 at link).:)

Hold up kitty!! I just checked your profile, it says you're unsure about your spiritual status. Then you come here trying to act like you know more than everyone else. I think you need to get that straight before you discuss the things of God and the Word with anyone else.
I think we determined in another thread he/she is a troll

So you lied. You said you were "unsure."
so why'd you lie on your profile?
Spiritual Status
Required ......... Are you a Christian?

Christian
not Christian
unsure

As we can see
On the registration page
they ask you this question for their spiritual status question.

Are you a Christian?

And then they give you 3 choices as to how to answer it.

Christian
not Christian
unsure

I cannot say I am a Christian
or not a Christian till they tell me
their qualifications or disqualifications as
to know if I am as they see it a Christian.

Therefore I am unsure of their classification
of myself as according to their doctrine.

The Lord is God and He is my Father.
And don't you forget it.

regarding whether you're of Him or not, my experience is that if you know, you know, and what other people think or say doesn't make you pause and doubt like that. scripture bears this out in that His apostle says, examine yourself, whether you are in the faith.

it is not up to some other human whether a person is justified before God. it is up to God.
likewise with Israel -- our opinions and musings don't affect anything on the topic: it is what God has said of His adulterous wife, that is important.

As Paul explains in Romans 4, the many people (nations) that Abraham is father of are the people of faith - the Church.
And of course all people on earth are blessed through Christ, who came through Abraham.

Ruth points to God grafting in gentiles (moabite in this case) by faith.

Was Ruth a Moabite or an Israelite? She was very likely a Moabite ethnically, but a faithful Israelite lawfully. To suppose otherwise would be inconsistent with the plain reading and beautiful redeeming theme of Scripture.
https://bbcpo.com/was-ruth-a-moabite-or-an-israelite/

Romans also points to God making no distinction between Jew and Gentile.

Romans 2:9-11
9 There will be tribulation and distress for every human being who does evil, the Jew first and also the Greek, 10 but glory and honor and peace for everyone who does good, the Jew first and also the Greek. 11 For God shows no partiality.

Romans 10:11-13
11 For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. 13 For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

God shows no partiality, which is also corroborated in Acts.

Acts 10:34-35
34 So Peter opened his mouth and said: “Truly I understand that God shows no partiality, 35 but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to hi

You may believe what you want, but I am secure in my stance.
Lol
The redemption without naomi COULD NOT happen.
Naomi was as much a part of the deal as Ruth.

Omit the facts if you want.
I am sticking with the bible

I cannot say I am a Christian
You can be a Christian today if you believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and confess that Jesus is Lord:

Romans 10:8-13
8But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

You can be a Christian today if you believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and confess that Jesus is Lord:
When does this take place in the life of a Christian,
before or after you believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and confess that Jesus is Lord?

Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

By the way, most trinitarians believe that non trinitarians are not Christians and visa versa.
And this goes on and on.

And why is it the word or term Christian is only used 3 times in the bible and
it is not written in the book of Revelation?

Because it is the Spirit of God talking from within Him through Him.
Because it is the Spirit of God talking from within Him through Him.
Really? The apostles were so conscious of blasphemy, that they ensured they were crucified in a different way than the Lord. Peter for instance demanded to be crucified upside down. I don't like this self-jabbing thing, sorry.
