How do I delete the threads that I started
You can't, we won't. It isn't fair to all the users who responded to your threads to have their content removed because you suddenly developed poster's regret..

I do not have poster’s regret at all. I was misunderstood and the posts took a direction that got off topic. Just as you assumed I had poster’s regret.

I don't worry too much about off topic. It's impossible to control what people are going to say so I just go with whatever they bring to the table. Sometimes a topic is brought up then it goes off tracks, but these side topics can still be useful and meaningful in my opinion.

Just try to work with whatever is in the thread. If you notice it's going off topic maybe try to restate your original question. I hope that helps.

It is common for threads to get off topic (derail) because of the fluid nature. You are not the first one to get misunderstood. :)

Thank you for your kindness. It is a real eye opener. I tend to approach life with what am I able to add to a persons life, how am I able to help, what is truly going on inside this person so I will not start threads and try to do what you suggest, try to understand or go with whatever is brought to the table. You are a wonderful person to care enough about me to see my dilemma.

Aw, I always feel sad when people feel too beaten down to write good threads. 😓 The threads are what keep the site going and hold the community together. 💖

You seem like a very sweet and compassionate person -- may I suggest, maybe just continue to read, post, and get to know people here, then maybe try writing more threads as you feel more comfortable here?

I've written a few threads as well and can reassure you that some misunderstandings are completely normal, but that's part of the value in doing so -- learning about others and how to communicate with them. 🤓

I really hope you won't be too discouraged and will keep on trying. 🙂

How could I be discouraged with your encouragement. Your the hope I had prayed for when I found this site. I will take your advice and continue reading, randomly add a tidbit here and there and really pray if the Lord wants me to post a thread in the future. I do love reading the posts yet I do wonder about each individual person. You truly live the scripture, 1 Thessalonians 5:11 Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
And I just like 12 and 13
12 We ask you, brothers, to respect those who labor among you and are over you in the Lord and admonish you, 13 and to esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves.
Thank you for the peace you have brought me.
