Yes, that verse has been abused a whole lot. The word "evil" in the KJV means "disaster, calamity, etc".

It sure doesn't mean evil in the sinful sense.

There is no debating the truth of Scripture.

I think we tend to forget just WHO is the Creator as we strive to be best in throwing out scripture and personal interpretations!

This is his plan,every single bit of it and he is the ONLY Creator,everything else has been CREATED!

We trust in his word and RELY on his Spirit to lead us into the truth that applies to us and our spiritual growth.

Firstly Man is of 3 parts like God.
He is spirit , living in a body and have a soul. I BELIEVE WE AGREE on that?If you back up a bit ..

Gen 1:27-28 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them. "MAN" in this verse was referring to the spirit man . male and female also.

Gen 2:2-4 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens.

when Adam fell . The Male in Man Gen 1:27-28 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them. 45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. you will notice Jesus wasn't refereed to last man Adam in that verse because its the Spirit
