Arrogant people can also be confident and vice versa. Seems like there isn't much of a difference to me.

It's more like someone is called confident when they're agreed with. When they are disagreed with they're called arrogant. One is a compliment and the other is a slur. It just depends how you decide to view it.

To prove that, you may believe someone is arrogant and I may believe someone is confident. Which one of us is right? Me of course. Jk

This one is easy - I define arrogance as something that is chosen. When one is so arrogant that they close their minds to the truth, then it crosses the line of "confidence".

This is not a set up for us ladies to get offended and fuss at y'all, I know everyone has things that are just automatic NOPES in their mind and I want to know yours.

For myself what can make a woman instantly unattractive is a very apparent lack of intellegence.

Confidence is good. Arrogance is not.
Amen, and every women of God ought to be confident about how her crooked nose shall be straightened in God's perfect time. If a man rejects you because of your crooked nose, then he is not the kind of man you want to get hitched up to. He would make for a very cheesy husband and father. Ya need a mon likes 'da oysta. I know that meself and all me Christian sisters shall soon be young and beautiful on the outside. I am attracted to those ladies who are confident, secure, and content to be single until God shows them the right one.

Jeremiah
29:10 For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.
29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
29:12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.

I thought it was teeth.

Hmm God told Jeremiah a lot of things, but getting married wasnt really one of them. He just wanted J to return to Jerusalem, wasnt that the whole point of Lamentations that they were exiled to Babylon?

Different men look at different parts. Parts is parts. The point is that it is is the degree of yieldedness to Jesus that should matter. Crooked nosed men sometimes actively seek out crooked nosed babes.:giggle:

Yes, but God can use OT events to teach us practical truths that apply to our daily lives. Bless you, dear.

If she's rude or unfriendly, that's an instant turnoff.

Has he asked Jesus to come into His heart?
sorry no idea, though I did give his wife an arabic new testament to give to him to read.

A lot of couples are unequally yoked because people are too much in a hurry to marry instead of focusing on God.

People have this idea that you can please a spouse and please God at the same time. But God doesnt want us distracted. If this was the case, then Jesus would have married and all the disciples would have bought their wives along or tried to set each other up on dates. And the Bible would read like a Danielle Steel novel.

But it doesnt...some of it reads like 'The Man who had too many wives' (Solomon)
'I cant keep my pants on' (King David)
'4 versions of one wedding, one crucifixtion and no funeral' (gospels)
