Whether if there is a 4th Wave or not, I am willing to bet there is coming a point where the core Members of the Body of Christ are going to become more outspoken against these false teachers. But when I think of false teachers, it's not just the seeker movements, the Denomination against Denomination Doctrines, but the Body of Christ is going to run out the Homosexual and Same Sex Ministers that for the past 15 years have infiltrated Denominations like Baptist/Wesleyan/Methodist/Presbyterian, Church of Christ, and many other offshoots.

And when this happens, that will bring the Core Body of Christ closer to being unified no matter your Denomination. And it's a very good chance there will be a release that brings Revival or a quick Movement. I believe the Church Body as it sits now has literally been thwarting God from Moving like we read Him doing in our Bibles. And when we come together to root out the falseness that's leading many Churches currently, it will allow God to pour out His Spirit upon ALL FLESH!
AandW, every time someone quotes this verse as evidence of a great end-times revival I'm utterly amazed. The scripture is from Acts 2:16-7:

"But this [referring to the Holy Spirits' outpouring on the Day of Pentecost] is what was uttered through the prophet Joel:

'And in the last days it shall be, God declares,
that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh. . .' "

So if he's referring to something that happened on Pentecost, how can it refer to an end-time revival. Can you explain this to me?

Because the Day of Pentecost does not represent the End of Times., it was the beginning of the Movement of the Holy Spirit. That was 2,000 years ago and God still has not returned. Logic states we're in the End Times and what happened on the Day of Pentecost is still happening now. I totally believe Peter thought Christ's Return was going to be soon. I doubt very much he thought it would be another 2,000+ years. But here we are. We know better than Peter. We know that we are closer ever to the Second Coming of Christ than Peter ever was. We know that puts us closer to the End Times than Peter ever was. So that Verse is more for us than it ever was for Peter's day.

Okay, but you completely ignored my real question. When the Holy Spirit was poured out on the Day of Pentecost, Peter said "this is that." He said this is it folks. This is what was prophesied by Joel for the last days. He doesn't say this is a foreshadowing of a future revival. No, he says "this is it!"

Why do people always try to twist this into some future outpouring when that's not what the text says?

Was it poured out upon ALL Flesh?

Or just the ones in the Upper Room?

Until the Holy Spirit is poured out upon ALL Flesh, Joel 2 is not fulfilled.

Peter is explaining this is the prophecy of Joel 2, but until the Holy Spirit is poured out upon ALL Flesh it's not completely fulfilled, just a douse here and there. ALL Flesh means ALL Flesh!

The ones observing the Upper Room and asked if they were DRUNK, clearly their Flesh was not touched by the Holy Spirit. So how can ALL Flesh be a completed/fulfilled prophecy reference to Acts 2?

There's 2 distinct settings here:
1. The ones in the Upper Room filled with the Holy Spirit
2. The observers

Clearly not ALL Flesh was being touched by the Spirit in that moment. So Joel 2 is a CONTINUAL PROPHECY even till now and end when the Spirit has been poured out to ALL Flesh.

Yes! It was. Just read ahead to verses 38-39:

"And Peter said to them, 'Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.' "

What promise is he talking about. The Holy Spirit, of course. Maybe it wasn't poured out on every single person at that time, but it was available to all who call upon the name of the Lord. That's why Peter said, "this is that."

Are there any other scriptures besides this one that says every single person on the planet will receive the baptism of the Spirit?

The prophecy is upon all flesh. Is this a mistranslation?

So you believe the Holy Spirit was poured out upon All Flesh in that very moment and to even someone who this very day might accept the Lord as their Savior?

Look at these Verses carefully because they [ALL] go together:

14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.

16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:

When the Spirit has been poured out unto ALL Flesh, we will visibly see Verses 19 and 20 take place.

When did Verses 19 and 20 happen?

Since they've NEVER happened, neither has the Spirit of God been poured out unto All Flesh!

The Great and Terrible Day of the Lord happens when the Spirit of God is poured out upon ALL Flesh.

So, when has the Great and Terrible Day of the Lord taken place, when did it happen?

Because it happens AFTER God's Spirit is poured out upon All Flesh!

Yes, I believe it because that's what Peter said (this is that). It wasn't literally poured out on all flesh then and there, but it means the time had come when the Holy Spirit would be available to all who called on the name of the Lord. Previously it had only been available to prophets and others who had a special anointing.

I do believe verses 19-20 refer to a time in the future just before the Lord returns. That much seems obvious from other scriptures. So the prophecy has two parts. The first part clearly refers to the Day of Pentecost. But 19-20 refer to a time in the future.

Have you been able to come up with any other scriptures that point to the Spirit being poured out on ALL flesh in the future?

I see your posts about the Holy Spirit moving on this earth and in people more as YOU twisting what the text states

and you do it with point blank inaccuracy

Yeah.. I remember attending a lot of charismatic and pentecostal services, and they all followed a very similar template.

Worship in song heavily based on experience and emotion that would go for a large portion of the time.

A message based similarly on experiences and emotion, emphasizing 'moving in the Spirit', with little scripture emphasis.

A call to come up and be healed and/or saved, emphasizing again spiritual experiences and physical manifestations.

Ending with a long period again on worship in song, emphasizing asking for things from God, rather than thanking God for what they have already.

This format getting copied and pasted over and over since the 70s.

The good thing is that there is freedom of expression of worship.. which can be a great thing like with David worshipping thru music and psalms.

So dont want to throw out baby with bath water..

But where is the emphasis on Christ as number 1 and grounding in scripture?
This depends on the brand of Pentecostalism. Not all Pentecostals are of the same brand as you have described. I was part of Pentecostal churches for 12 years and found Christ glorified, people's faith confirmed in Christ, and the preaching solidly founded in Scripture. Also the singing was a combination of choruses at the start of services, and traditional hymns thereafter.

I know that the Bethel and Hillsong churches are of a different variety, but I have never attended any of those churches. In the 12 years that I was part of the movement I had the privilege of being under pastors who were men of the Word and prayer. One pastor taught that if a person was to be successful in the prophetic, he needed to be a praying person and being securely founded in God's Word.

It say the Holy Spirit will be poured out upon all flesh but it doesn't say all will be baptized in Him e.g He was poured out upon Simon Magus but the outcome for him was not good.

No I don't believe it's not over. Should I?
