To start a discussion - no debates. All should be treated with respect in their own personal journey. If someone was to walk up to you and ask "What is the Kingdom of God that I hear about?" what you say to them? There are plenty of references in the Bible but what is it to you? And how does it fit into our life and times today?

You may want to post this in a chat based area, rather than the area for people to introduce themselves.
And if you're expecting no debate and respect you'll quickly be disappointed.

Luke 4:17-19
"…the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to Him. Unrolling it, He found the place where it was written: 18“The Spirit of the Lord is on Me, because He has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”…

Fundamentally, the Kingdom of God is where Satan is driven out of people's lives - Matthew 12:28 Satan is the murderer, the thief, the destroyer, the source of all sickness and disease, poverty and every affliction that people suffer.

The word "salvation" has become Christianspeak for going to heaven when you die. It is infinitely more than that. It is no less than the removal of Satan's control (1 John 5:19) and the installation of the rule of Christ instead (Revelation 12:10)

It is to be the number one priority in the Christian's life. I wonder how many God sees as doing that.

Welcome to cc may the lord bless you and keep you,
1 John 1:5, NIV: "This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light;

Where ever you see light you see Gods Kingdom which includes a whole uninverse of stars.
His light Gives birth to light, a star Gives birth to star, and i would imagine a universe Gives birth to a universe, there is probably many many universes.

I would imagine his Kingdom has no end :)

To me the kingdom of God is not a present reality in this world at this point in time. Glad to have you finally join in on the conversations in the forums. Welcome to CC.

Welcome back to CC:) Here's a brief answer to your inquiry: Kingdom of God, also called Kingdom Of Heaven, in Christianity, the spiritual realm over which God reigns as king, or the fulfillment on Earth of God's will .
You will get more responses in the Bible Discussion Forum(BDF) if you decide to repost this. God bless you and that's a great topic!

"What is the Kingdom of God that I hear about?"
"It is about inviting Jesus into your heart. He loves you and has a perfect plan for your life. You were born a slave to a selfish sin nature that will ultimately destroy you, but Jesus died on the cross to give you a new life in Him."

To me, we are ALL a part of the Kingdom of God.
We were all born in sin. We all need salvation. This is why Jesus died on the Cross and why we need to humbly come to Him to have the Blood applied.

John
3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
3:4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

I say it is within me, I then talk about the peace and joy I have which gets sweeter and sweeter as I get older ... God's great love wherewith He loves us.

Welcome :)
