Good morning all Hope your day is going well and blessed(y).

It's a bit cooler here today, which is quite good as I have to finish painting my mum's kitchen for her. sweat was pouring yesterday as I was painting .. even the ice cream vans were struggling to cope..

let's see.....
it's 1/2 mashed banana
3 TABLEspoons peanut butter
3 egg whites
beat together & cook like you would a pancake (though I think next time I will try half cooking, then flipping, and cooking just a little more then flip again and again till done b/c there is no powder ingredients it did seem to cook different than pancakes and I ended up burning some  so I think constant flipping might help prevent that)

Thanks GG, I will give those a try. They sound very tasty :)(y).. go well with a :coffee: :)

I was gonna say to Phil... don't forget the banana!!! :giggle:

Since I am going out for wound care every other day, I do a bit of grocery
shopping while I am out, making sure to buy two bananas each time :D

GG, @ what heat do you cook your pancakes?

I do mine on the 2 setting, and only need to turn once, no burning included!

That is a thick pancake I am cooking also, since I decided to cook one
huge one instead of doing two smaller ones separately LOLOLOLOLOLOL :)

I have not made one for a while, though...
I won't forget the banana now I've been reminded ...

Today we had our weekly fellowship in my school and we were told to open a book in the bible and there I go opening to another chapter and verse mistakenly, The place was talking about the prodigal son... I couldn't leave that place as soon as I started reading the verse 1 or 2. It really got me towards the ending and I felt like Jesus was talking to me at that point ( I mean sitting infront of me saying those words) and I imagine looking into his eyes and wonder what a loving teacher he is. I still feel he has something to tell me each time I open my bible (mostly bible apps). I'm a developer by the grace of God and I am speaking from my experience of running away from christ ( oh! I have missed alot).
I love that story...

I can tell you that I "discovered" a few little tidbits in that story....

Like the rebellious son "standing"... meaning that he was so stubborn but finally repentant enough to be a servant to his family to try to make up for his rebellion. You know...I epitomize the expression "experience is a hard teacher and a fool will learn by no other". But I will say to my credit that when I learn a lesson (eventually) I do live it.

Then there's the Father...who saw his repentant son a LONG way off but instantly rushed about to ensure his welcome home.

Then there's the angry brother...who didn't get to join in the good things the Father had simply because he resented his brother...he couldn't forgive. Instead of helping his Father prepare (a high honor in my mind) he spent his time brooding over spilt milk, being angry and missing out on all the good stuff.

We, today are either one of the two brothers...Dad never did have a "good son"...both brothers are rejects in their own way. *Sigh*

Morning, Ruby. Here's today's donut selection...

Those look lovely, don't mind if I do! Thank you :D

Good news and bad news (bad first): a lovely new member has quit the site after encountering the vitriol in the covid conspiracy thread/s. The good news is another conspiracy theorist was banned after being here less than a week. He was a flat earther, too :rolleyes::giggle::alien:

I had a busy and productive day yesterday, doing laundry and taxes, the latter with a friend who has been especially helpful to me this year, driving me to and from various shopping trips, appointments, and hospital visits, and also helping me get my car back on the road after the battery died from lack of use around Christmas last year. It sat idle for about four to five months... I renewed my auto insurance very recently also, and it is less than half of what I was paying two years ago, because I am not driving to work (it went down some last year for that reason), and I also qualified for the under 5K discount. In fact I drove less than 1K LOL :D

Good morning, friends :) Yeah, I am up really early and have already had coffee!

I had to go get one of those battery boost jump things for my wife's car...it sat around so much. My truck was all that we had driven what little we did drive.

Then I had to clean and tighten the battery posts too...that helped as well.

Now I need to change the oil in it...I put in synthetic oil because it lasts longer than regular oil... she's been driving it one day a week. And now after a month and a half we put in a fresh tank of gas.

We washed them both one day last year by hand....they looked all mildewed with black splotches....

But....they are running...fueled and usable.

*Sigh*....it never ends does it?

Nope! Never ending but so convenient = major ugh to public transit LOL

I had jumper cables already because my last car used to die on dark
rainy nights if I made stops along the way to where I was going :censored::giggle:

Gas has come down a wee bit here but is still over $1.60 a litre o_O

My vehicle is filthy :cry::LOL: It really is in need of a good wash ;):D
