Sir, you are being completely disingenuous. Before the heliocentric model was invented, nobody believed the earth was a ball spinning in space. It was invented to undermine the Word of God, and it obviously has worked very well.

No, actually I'm being serious. How is the shape of the earth being round undermining the Word of God? How far away is the sun from the earth? I have been led to believe that it is, depending on the point of the orbit 93 to 94 million miles away.

It's amazing why no pilots have noticed and can confirm the earth is flat. Seems like at the circumference they would have to drop down and make a u-turn. How did they miss that?

Actually, many have acknowledged the earth is flat. No downward adjustment is every necessary. They just don't announce it on the evening "news".

It can be determined by mathematics. As I have stated, depending on the location of the earth in its orbit around the sun it is 93 - 94 million miles. God has not stated in the bible the distance but has given the tools to determine the distance.

the deepest part of the ocean is almost 7 miles, so according to your flat earth, how thick does the earth have to be to keep it from draining into space?

In the most popular Flat Earth Model, the outer edge of the Earth is bounded by an 'Ice Wall'. This wall prevents the oceans from spilling over the side of the Earth... The exact size of the Ice Wall varies between different Flat Earth Models. The traditional view is that the Ice Wall rises approximately 150 feet above sea level, preventing the ocean from spilling over the edge of the Earth. source

They had to make a U-turn or otherwise they would be flying off into outer space. Funny thing though, no one has ever taken a photograph of the edge of the earth. I asked a flat earther a few years ago on this site why this was and he said because going to the edge of the earth is a hard thing to do. I take from that that they are not very ambitious. They said that all photographic evidence of a round earth is fake yet do not provide any of there own. Another guy said once that there is no oxygen there at the edge. Yeah, well take and air tank for crying out loud. Truly pathetic responses.
