SOLA SCRIPTURA for every child of God

That is a unfounded understanding (pre-trib snatching). Thus we must only rely on SOLA SCRIPTURA and reject pre-conceived opinions of men and religion.

I once believed pre-trib until i went to the Lord to know His answer based on SOLA SCRIPTURA = His Word alone.

Sola Scriptura (Scripture Alone) is an interesting concept because many people claim it, but few people actually adhere to it. For example, any sort of commentary, opinion, or bias is not sola scriptura. I think people just aren't always understanding that our preconceived notions about what the Bible says, our upbringing, life experiences, world view, etc. heavily influence what we think we are looking at.

I think a key on the path to sola scriptura is understanding the message the Bible is trying to convey. Overall, the Bible is not a simple book. It has a lot of non-literal elements in it without much explanation as to what it's talking about sometimes. I think people tend to read themselves into the scripture, as well, believing that all material in it applies directly to themselves.

Teaching the Bible is a sacred responsibility. In my opinion, it is better to say nothing at all than to risk leading someone else astray. We should all strive for a sola scriptura approach to Bible interpretation.

I thought all of your post seemed good except the bit I quoted above.

This is a good example of what sola scriptura is not. Time and time again, we see this pre-TOJT resurrection/departure of the body of Christ, but no supporting verses that plainly state it or infer it. If the supporting verses existed, you would have quoted them. You quoted no verses for this part because they just don't exist.

I am sure this particular pre-TOJT doctrine is not Sola Scriptura. In order to make it Sola Scriptura it needs nothing but Bible verses to prove it. That's it.

Jesus is not declaring two separate events. When you reach verse 27 to 28 he ends the series of events leading to His Return = the Resurrection and the Rapture.

In verse 29 Jesus starts a new discussion ( pertaning to His Return) with a parable. He does not interject Two Returns.
We do this all the time to get our message across - we give the instructions nd then we go back and give more instructions in a different way to get the message clear for the listener.

Pre-trib is the typical 'add and take away' approach to interject a belief upon scripture to support a belief that scripture does not give.

All false or erroneous doctrines start this way and continue this way.

Now go to Revelation 3:10 and show me where the Rapture is clearly stated by Jesus in that verse - Peace

yes many areas of scripture have the same discernment because we break it up in sections and make each thing different it’s all there to give a fuller understanding of the one day he returns and fathers his people and the others are cast away in a moment in the twinkling of an eye and sudden and in notices by those not watching in the world

even some Christians won’t know because they are still waiting for monsters and dragons to appear and for a worldwide war and all the physical imagery they saw revelation , but not first hearing the gospel and the foundation of those visions of spiritual evil on earth

he has blinded the world so they won’t see the signs like in Noah’s day it was life as usual outside of Noah’s family but he knew about the flood coming and believed so as they built thier ark as he said , everyone else was unaware the world as usual and then sudden destruction and salvstion for those waiting yet on earth

it is god that give us understanding no book of itself that includes doctors book.It is written their is only one teacher.That is only one they can give you wisdom.
