If your family had a motto, what would it be?

Our family motto would be, "Every occasion deserves an appropriate family dinner." Seriously, we have a family dinner for any excuse... er, for any reason. (Don't get me wrong, I ain't complaining. I love it!)

Covid sure has cramped our style...

So what would your family's motto be?

Obligatory joke that I know somebody will say, so we might as well get it out of the way now:

"What's a motto?"
"Nothing. What's the motto with you?"

Just do it may be my familymotto. "Never do anything in conflict with yourself, ever, ever and ever forevermore" perhaps.

“It’s tradition! He always waves at the gate!”

Now this is taken from a movie called Ever After, and our family (even before the movie) would always wave our families or guests at the gate. Since the movie, we’ve taken that “motto” and ran with it.

Lynx this question actually brings to mind the opening song for a show I watched awhile back. I think it describes my lovely family. The song makes me chuckle, but it is true.
