Hi.. I'm new😀! What is the earnest understanding when all has been lost?
First off, I'm very sorry to hear about your divorce.

And, at the risk of not sounding sensitive, I will say this. When I first read your post, the very first thing that came to mind was this : "I hope that not everything has been lost, because that would mean that you no longer had Jesus ."

I am truly sorry to hear that your marriage is no longer, I would not like to know what that feels like. May you find Grace in Our Lord and Savior and King, Jesus, as well as Comfort, Peace and Joy.

Welcome to Christian Chat. May your time here be both fun and fruitful🙂.

Just something to consider

A spousal relationship is established in God's eyes when the two make one, wink wink. Marriage is a public confession of that relationship. You can divorce and withdraw that confession, but you're still spousal in God's eye. Always will be.

For whatever it's worth.

Oh Many, many thanks. I have had an experience that has left me closer to God for over 20 years. Something to talk about only by His Grace.

I was divorced after 38 years. I didn't want it. According to Jesus' words, there is no divorce and I do not plan to marry again. It was painful and awful and still is. We must move on.

Katia....Sad to hear! Yes Christ will not that we divorce but I am not sure about staying single forever😂 My understanding is probably that by His leading, one can marry again! Something to talk about🙉

Sorry to hear about your divorce. Been there myself, but it was meant to be. It takes two to make a marriage work. I pray for better days ahead of you

Just have a little talk with Jesus. He can give you peace in the midst of the storm. If you've still got Jesus, then you still have:) everything that matters most. God bless you and welcome to your new family, dear sister Syma.:):coffee:
