Man, I get it. The liberals, with their abdication of personal responsibility, their policies of enablement, their promotion of abortion, their poly/a-theism free for all, their embrace of immorality - These are not values Christians should be promoting.

But the conservative embrace of self idolatry, the abandonment of the poor and sick, the mammon worship, the lies and deceit - those are not values Christians should be supporting either. Yet so many do. And vehemently.

The trouble is, only one of these philosophies claims it is from God. And that is what makes it more dangerous.
I know a lot of conservatives, but none who embrace the practices that you describe. Try getting to know actual people rather than letting the media tell you what people they despise believe and support.

An individual person may not personally engage in lies, deceit, self idolatry, abandoning the poor and sick, and mammon worship. But if that person supports the republican party, they support he republican ideals of lies, deceit, self idolatry, abandoning the poor and sick, and mammon worship. Just like if you support the democratic party you support their ideals of immorality, poly/a-theism, abortion, and abdication of personal responsibility.

Again you can't have it both ways. If democrats support democratic ideals, then republicans support republican ideals.

Don't listen to what they say, look at what they do.

By their fruit you shall know them, right?

Then stop supporting those who's fruits are ungodly. On BOTH sides.

Yes, I think we should rally behind the unfaithful doing good work in the spirit of the lord. If unchristian people feed the poor, we should support it, as you do in fundraisers, a nice thing to do.
A great example of this is BLM, a worthy cause, and millions donated to BLM have gone to help poor inner city blacks rise up from poverty and leave the ghetto (primarily the founders of BLM and their family members, they have moved to million dollar homes in very exclusive suburban neighborhoods). Other than that I am not aware of any of the other money donated to BLM actually going to help poor inner city people of color.

So this is your opinion. And as long as you state that I have no issue with whatever you want to say. Otherwise I've just posted the fact that conservatives give more to charity, more to the poor and the sick than Dems in another thread. Conservatives even give more to Dem causes than they themselves do. So that blows that out of the water. You understand that conservative doesn't equal Christian and certainly not born again Christian. All kinds of people that vote conservative and are not Christian. We have two parties, you vote the one that's closest to your belief system.
