New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo resigns after sexual harassment allegations
Facing an impeachment inquiry, the governor will now leave office in 14 days.

One woman has also contacted police with regard to pursuit of criminal charges.

Wasn't there also a scandal related to Mayor De Blasio? Just as an aside.
While I'm not sad to see the old boy go, I wonder why Dems turned on him so quickly. They usually go down with the ship when it comes to their people. Then I realized the person that is replacing him is not only a woman, but black. She will be the first female gov. of NY. So I think that with Cuomo Dems were like, " here's your hat, what's your hurry". Things that make you go "humm"...

Where did you get that she is black?

I can’t find anything saying Kathy Hochul is black.

his resignation sounds more like the prayer of a martyr .... don't cry for me...I resign because I love you all so much and I don't want to hurt anyone further

he will not go gentle into the good night

deBlasio is best known for his defund the police, although he has now done a 180 due to the increase (yah think?) in crime

he hasn't got anyone's back but his own

as an aside, heard on the news this am, that his brother, Chris the great one from the false news station known as CNN. is now on the hit list of 'resign resign resign'

Dems just gotta have someone to persecute it seems

besides, takes the attention away from actual crimes like tens of thousands of illegals flooding into the country....that way BooBoo Biden can keep blaming those who refuse the poison jab...instead of acknowledging where the spread is actually coming from

while the Dems party and dance the night away, the rest of us should double up our masking efforts and force children to breath their own exhaust fumes.

too little too late

I think this is funny. They promote a totalitarian regime with the hope that they'll be the next president not realizing that if you have a totalitarian regime the first thing they do is get rid of the competition.

He (Cuomo) is evil personified. He'll be back in the public eye in one way or another, maybe as a contributor with one of the lying evil media outlets, such as CNN or msnbc.

The Antichrist destroys Jezebel but not of Himself. I think this is what we are seeing, they are like an evil brood that bites and devours itself. They are destroyed by their own lies and hypocrisy. Cuomo was all high and mighty concerning 1 woman who accused Kavanaugh from HS with a claim that he had no way to refute as she didn't give an exact time or place. Meanwhile we have 11 women who have plenty of verifiable evidence on Cuomo, not from 40 years ago but rather months ago.

New York Gov. Hochul orders immediate release of 191 Rikers Island inmates, citing 'technical' violations o_O

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/ne...rs-island-inmates-citing-technical-violations
"Hochul made the announcement before signing into law the "Less Is More Act" that will stop the state from putting ex-cons back behind bars for missing appointments with their parole officers, violating curfew or testing positive for drugs or alcohol."

Less is more!
Less responsibility more stupidity. What a refreshing change from the Cuomo years.

So then if they just ignore meeting with the parole officer, ignore various curfews, and they are doing drugs is there any recourse? Besides not getting a smiley face, what is the penalty for this?

Nothing. They remain on parole. Their PO can't vacate their parole if they commit what, before this new rule, would have otherwise been a violation of the terms and conditions for parole.

Basically, now the only way a Parolee returns to prison is if they break the law again.

So then violating the rules of parole are not breaking the law?

Just to be clear a man rapes a woman and gets ten years in prison. After five years he is let out on parole due to "good behavior". He doesn't bother seeing his parole officer, doesn't pay attention to any curfews or mandates about not leaving the state, and is doing drugs. But none of that constitutes a reason to revoke his parole?

Precisely.
