That's Right, you live in Oakland!

You're in a Democratic Run State!

How long you been shut down?
two years, and our attempt to recall the Governor failed. Greatly supported by the Teacher's Union. NOw he is emboldened with the perceived mandate we are the first state to make vaccines mandatory for students.

Are the Teachers voting for the shut downs?
They like teaching from a computer vs room full of students?

all right man, i trust you.

I can only suggest contacting schools and seeing if you and church members can intervene and check up on the children these programs know are in most danger.

Too bad some Billionaire didn't need a TAX BREAK and buy a city block and build a Center and then take financial losses and live like a Trillionaire!

and the MASKS, I agree!

I am not a Fan how it's mandated in Cali
You must wear it driving in a car alone.
Why?
Dear Brother, LOL you are not here in California are you? Let me tell you what my past three yeaRS HAVE BEEN FOR ME IN ca

  1. a divided church from the election
  2. massive shut of all Christian churches and our CHURCH ELDERS AGREED WE SHOULD. I disagreed then and I do now. I fight to stay open
  3. the church congregation got used to live feed service and many did not return to the needs of ministry suffered children's, men's, women, outreach
  4. I spoke at school boards, city councils and other churches tried to do clean up in many cities but they were biological hazards and we were not just picking up trash and old tv, and carts. but human waste, and even finding dead bodies.
  5. the increase in young people not adhering to the isolations going out.
  6. Not to mention the very Governor could not keep his own rules
  7. fighting to reopen the church while having placed on us more restrictions than on a bar.
Today we are all expecting CA to shut down again before October 31st. We saw over 800,000 families leave CA over the past two years and liberal Chritians are very problem too.

Concerning Cancer:
For years, it's been rumored Science has created several cures that would eliminate Radiation and such risk like the fallout from it.

It's like that young kid 5 years ago who Created the Cure for something amazing and then jacked the epi-pen to like $750,000 per pen. And the Government allows it.

But Science has discovered so many CURES, because that is what Science was originally designed to do, FIND CURES and figure out the UNKNOWNS! Problem is, Government and the Wealthy running behind the scene calling the shots.
Its like the auto system

They created fuel injection many years ag. But also knew it would make cars more fuel efficient, So they waited to put them in cars.. The big gas companies I am sure paid them off.

yes they do not all but the majority.
The arguments they make is foolish at best.
For example, they want to complain about wipes for Chromebooks. yet not a word about the student sitting in a seat or desk that other students will be using why? Teachers don't even have to go to a student's desk but the Chromebook they hAVE TO TOUCH. oH, MY TEACHERS HAVE HAD a full year off with pay from the comfort of their own homes. Food service workers and custodians were working every day serving food and cleaning to open the school and making great modifications demanded by the teachers union to even consider coming back.

Which is sad, because they are taking their liberal ideas elseware.

Does it seem to you the Leadership in California is trying to create a situation where it cost Citizens their lives for a Budget Relief?

Yeah, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Vegas, Colorado, Idaho, Wyoming all saw a BOOM in Population all Californians relocating. And the Majority of those that LEFT, left because they disagree how Cali is operated, [[BUT]] they try and force that Failed Cali Politics into their New Home State.

People can't stand them!
I saw some get treated really badly in Arizona and encouraged to go back to Cali!
But look, first time in years, Arizona voted for Biden [all because of Relocated Californian Rejects]!!

And yeah, the Liberal Californian Christians, seem more like Strong Agnostics than anything else!

I wondered if after not dealing directly with Students, and being able to make the Parent or Guardian responsible to set them up for Online Classes, if Teachers would try to encourage that platform for awhile longer.

think of this, you're in a virtual room and have students who are room login in and the system fails and you lose the class, or students who were no longer in school are able to log in to the class and disrupt it. once the class system failed the fix takes an hour then you have to call the student to return to the class which they do not do. they lost over two months of instructional time that cannot be made up those students were passed along without doing the work or learning.

If the risk factor is only that small percentage higher. It must make you wonder

Why are all the vaccinated getting this.

Of the 3.24 vaccinated How much of it was actually caused by the vaccine and not other circumstances.

to me the fact the vaccinated and vaccinated are so close in results. It would be negligible and uneventful for me to declare this is a major risk of a vaccine. would it not?
The significant increase in heart related issues is relative to a control group, which would supposedly filter out other circumstances based on the method of study (heart conditions were also only one of several adverse effects that were significantly increased by vaccine use in the study). But our line of questioning should not stop at the conclusion of the study.

There is a pattern to this kind of information being pushed out. We went from a CTV article with a doctor misquoting a study in a way intended to inspire fear and encourage people to make uninformed decisions. And on a closer inspection of the study we see the real numbers and methodology are also out of whack and bring up a list of their own questions. Reading deeper into the study, the control group didn't contain just anyone that was unvaccinated, but only unvaccinated individuals that were not previously infected (the previously infected would have immunity even though the study speculates for whatever reason that they wouldn't). The method used a daily "match" technique where participants were potentially double-counted in some cases. We see that the specifics of age, general health, etc. are "matched" with a pair, but not trended or described further in the data. The pairs are followed until one of them meets a stop condition such as an adverse effect or the unvaccinated individual gets a first vaccine shot. It isn't made clear how a situation is categorized if two conditions are met at the same time such as an unvaccinated individual having both a first vaccine shot and an adverse event at the same time. Is it categorized as an adverse event or first shot? Since we stop at any adverse effect, it also isn't clear if there is a cascade of further adverse effects so in many respects magnitude of adverse effects is not well measured. We also have to look at the fact that this study only looks at a very specific ethnicity and culture represented (Israeli) which may not be representative of other genetic and cultural profiles. We should also pay attention to the fact that many heart issues can take months to present clinically. 42 days is an unusually short time-span to look for the appearance or breadth of heart issues. We should look at all of the companies that funded the study. Do any of them have investments or ties in the vaccine industry? I haven't looked yet, but very probably based on the trend. If so, there is a conflict of interest in the study.

If we made a study that properly categorized 1) "unvaccinated" 2) "after first shot" 3) "after final shot" against the factors a) "previously identified as infected", b) "not previously identified as infected" and then sort by age, health conditions (comorbidities and risk factors)... add the error bars for PCR tests used... using a probabilistic model for adverse effects caused by SARS-2 infection based on pre-existing health conditions (something better than the "matching" method)... then we might have real data that is generally free from bias.

We should also note that this was based around one outbreak event and therefore only represents a specific spectrum of strains (or just one strain), but does not give us predictive power for future potential variants of concern that may break through. VoC breakthroughs are currently mentioned in other literature as a preamble for booster shots, which is currently what has been implemented in the country where the study took place. Boosters are clearly going to be mandated in the future elsewhere. If each booster is a roll of the dice for these adverse effects, we are then putting those with natural immunity (or strong natural resistance) in a position where they are being forced into more harm than benefit. If they are obscuring data for the benefit of their industry now they will only continue to more boldly do so in the future.

listen carefully to what the CEO says to the lab scientist

From day 1, I was all about Trump and Pence keeping things opened. But States can Mandate Independently whether a sitting President wants them to follow his orders. As long as States have a say, it doesn't matter if the President is Democratic, Independent, or Republican. Look at legal Marijuana. States are passing it into Law and it's still a Federal Crime according to the Laws of the USA Government.

I'll Be Praying for You!

Trump wanted tings closed initially. He wanted to shut the boarders down. Then asked the states to shut down. Two democratic states refused. And thousands died.

I think people forget how this all got started.

A link is always appreciated, it helps move the conversation forward, cheers to that.

It should always be a red flag when someone cites a media article instead of a scientific publication. Especially an article where the interviewee says they "believe", "think", or "reckon" that something is true. We can be fooled into accepting a bad ethos argument. Mainstream media is notorious for this tactic.

So where did those numbers come from? Surely they weren't just made up? Kind of, but they are taken out of context.

Here's a publication the article may have been alluding to: https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa2110475

But in that publication we see that both groups are in the ballpark of 5 per 100000 cases of myocarditis. The publication notes that myocarditis is actually substantially higher risk in the vaccinated group rather than the unvaccinated group by a risk factor of 3.24. That's not even the end of the story. A caveat for the publication was that the study was only run for 42 days around the vaccinated. This higher risk factor was only observed for short term effects, not long term. It is possible that long term heart-related effects are even higher for the vaccinated.

Continue your endeavour for truth, and don't get hung up when mainstream media says something without citing a scientific study. Even with a scientific study, look for methods and conclusions that might be in question.

And importantly, now that you've seen the media has not been forthright and honest in all cases, perhaps it is time to question everything that you have heard from the media.
I didn't quote that article to "prove" I was right. Just anecdotal evidence that people can get heart damage from COVID.

My undergrad was in science, I know all about using journal articles, actual study results, & research papers. I didn't know you could read scientific papers & studies, most people here can't or won't. But I will make sure to post proper links, next time I am addressing you. And great you know about this. I've been posting mostly anecdotal stories here, because no one reads the links I post.

And thanks for the link. This is the study I read yesterday and got a lot of info out of it. At 5 am I didn't post the link, and I apologize for that!

She ended up having heart surgery.

Most can't read them or understand...they just read the summaries and call it "good" never even getting into the methods and protocols. (And the devil is always in the details)
Which @eternally-gratefull just did a few posts back. He got into the details and explained why the paper was bad, incomplete science. The reasons why someone did such a job could have been because of poor funding or lack of experience/knowledge or were looking for proof of a politically slanted outcome.
