Not even sure what I’m doing anymore or why I’m here. I’ve been praying for a long time and I’m convinced either God doesn’t care or he does hear me and at this point he’s not going to do anything. Why did he create me to me suffer??

God wants us to have life and to have it more abundantly. I have been dealing with depression off and on since my teens so I can relate to what you are saying. I don't know why God has allowed you to have depression but I will pray for God to deliver you from the cloud of depression that is hovering over you. Not sure what you're doing anymore? I have felt that way more than once and that is a painful and lonely place to be. Your posts saddens me.

I hope this helps somehow.

You have so much faith. Trust in Jesus the Nazarene for forgiveness of sins.

Matthew 2:23
23And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.

You have purpose in this world, you have to love your neighbor as yourself.

Mark 12:31
31And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

You have purpose in this life. trust fully in Jesus and let go of your past. You'll make it.

God didn't create you to suffer.

I worked with someone who experienced fluctuating bouts of depression and memory loss.
They were later diagnosed with Hypothyroidism.

See if this information helps.
Hypothyroidism and Depression Connection - Thyroid Advisor

"Hypothyroid patients frequently experience problems such as apathy, depression, psychomotor slowing, and cognitive dysfunction. What's more, patients with severe form of hypothyroidism often exhibit clinical symptoms that are strongly similar to those of melancholic depression and dementia.
And also, they were were prescribed medicines that weren't all that helpful to their condition. "

They consulted with a nutritionist and changed their diet. This helped a lot.
They also went to their local health food store and started adding supplemental nutrition to their diet.

Last I talked to them they were free of their depression and memory loss symptoms going on 5 years.

You'll get through this. 😊

Suffering is a part of the human condition. God did not create anyone to suffer. God is not your enemy. Satan is the enemy. We do not help ourselves when we complain and blame God. There is a reason for everything. Very often, God wants us to learn to trust Him no matter what. Trials come and go. God remains steadfast. His grace is always sufficient. How do I know? Because I've learned the lessons myself. This is not theory. A year or so ago I was near death with a painful illness. God brought me through. This year, I nearly lost my only real friend to kidney failure and heart trouble. She was "code blue" in ICU. She was a nurse so she knew that meant she was dying. God brought her through that. Now she seems to have slight dementia and that is heartbreaking. Yet I know that God is there for both of us. God's word tells us to trust in the Lord with all our heart. It tells us not to rely on our own understanding. Acknowledge Him in every area of our lives, and then He will direct our paths.

We cannot just let circumstances swamp us. There may be a reason why you are suffering. It is OK to complain to God. It is spiritual lunacy to complain about God. Tell God your concerns by all means. But saying that God is treating you unfairly is to cut off the help that you seek. Cast all your cares on Him, because He cares for you.

"Let us hope and pray, a heart of stone ~be reconciled to God~
and, that they absorb these words, meant with love and concern of
their stability in the rigors of life. Let us pray of their deliverance
from doubt and uncertainty."
'Amen'

I’ve prayed for you Gemmy. Don’t worry, you’re not alone. In the end, you’ll come through this and see the gift that this challenge was. God bless you.
