For the last 2 month in my country Indonesia people talking about how police arrest and torture ex imam now Christian preacher, he is youtube his name is Mohamed Kece arrested by police because Muslim high council offended by the way he use Quran to prove Jesus is God and savior, it attract some young Muslim to accept the Lord. Police arrest him, and his lawyer can see him till he push it than the lawyer say there is evident of torture, spme body bit him force him eat human waste, the lawyer say he unconsious during torture and wake it up by pouring water than bit it again.
Devil try to punish people that expose his crime. And I say, the torture prove mr mohamad kece right, Muslim as bad as what he say even worse. Muslim don't want people say they are bad, why they prove it bad by torturing mr kece?
I hate to hear that. I will be praying for Mohamed Kece. I ask others on here to do the same.

These are things that deeply trouble me. The Bible holds so many promises but it seems when we ask God to fulfill them and help no help comes.

I remember speaking with our pastor about it and he said that's where your F-A-I-T-H comes in. It's hard.

Does the Lord tell us to expose others? Many times we act out of our flesh and then wonder why He isn't there to bail us out.
I believe if we "stay in Him", do what He actually, personally, individually, guides us by Holy Spirit to do He is there.
If we hold to an outward form of godliness, denying the power, we will not walk in the power and protection.

We seem to be getting hit left and right and right and left. I know of a few others who are as well. I'd like to know if this is widespread. Satan appears to be attacking nonstop. We no sooner get through one issue then we're hit with another. I'm wondering if it's due to the end times.
Acts 14v22: "We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God."

Tribulations, temptations and trials are ALL part and parcel of being a believer in the Lord Jesus, it is the method that our Heavenly Father uses to perfect us! Rom 5v1-5, James 1v2-4,12.

These trails show and demonstrate that we actually have a faith!

Satan is wholly a tool in the hands of God to punish the wicked, to correct the righteous, 1Tim 1v20, 1Cor 5v5, to bring glory to the Sons of God, Eph 6v10-20, Job 1 and 2, James 1v12, to test the true character of everyone. Rev 20v7,10, Matt 4v1. Against us Satan only has the power that is given to him by God. Job 1 all. Against God he is helpless. Rev 20v1-3.

While we are in these trails, Our Saviour is interceding for us every second of every day making His Grace available to us in the trial. Heb 7v25, 2Cor 12v9, Rom 5v20, 1Peter 1v6-9.

The trials that come upon us are not haphazard, but are carefully planned by God from before the foundation of the world, even the trouble that we get into of our own making, He brings good out of, if we face them with Him! Rom 8v28.

You can find a bit of a study Here that may be helpful.

I am having my faith attacked. I expected help from God and none came so doubts that I had settled long ago crept back in. There are so many promises in the Bible and very few seem to come true. I have even screamed at God for not helping when I expected help from Him. I used to talk to a lawyer who walked away from God after handling priest sex abuse cases.

Where was God?

I had something pretty bad happen to me and I walked away from God but there was nothing else. I even had a Christian "friend" whose life sailed along smoothly behave like a hypocrite and like Job's friends accuse of doing 'something' wrong. Yet I watched her and her husband cheat a couple out of money after their son hit the woman's car. So why isn't she getting hit? Judgement begins with the house of God.

I am watching someone else that I care about be tormented from lack of God helping. His marriage and business fell apart -and he's turned to substances - and he's the best person I have ever known in my entire life. He lives christianity more than any pastor I've known. It really hurts. It's as if the very foundation and underpinnings of my faith are being shaken. Where are the promises? Why is he suffering and not another?

A so-called "Christian" lawyer cheated my father's estate out of money. His son was a drug dealer in our town and is now a lawyer in daddy's firm. I posted an honest review and he called and threatened that he and his 73 lawyers would sue me. I did not remove it. Where is God's judgement on them??? He's a christian my foot. I know Psalm 73 but it still doesn't cut it when issues go on and on and on and you see absolutely no justice and you see a good person suffer continually. I see why the disciples despaired of life. Even my spouse said last night life seems not worth living - it's one problem after another. Then watching someone so good being demolished while others prosper is too much to bear.

Maybe you are trying too hard to have faith. The battle belongs to the Lord. Sometimes he may use opportunity to break our control. After all it says we it is no longer us who lives but Christ who lives within us. Keep giving the situation to him and get out of the way. Allow him to have the control over it. I am learning this myself at the moment and I can't say I like it but ultimately it will be a valuable change that is needed and more peace.

What are you calling "Attacks"?
The little temptations that the devil uses will be with us while we are here.
I have heard people who have been taken to the other side and returned say that is gone when over there, only to return when they are allowed to come back to this side of the veil.
bless you
Attacks by people that the devil controls, attacks within my family by unsaved, temptation and attacks against those I care about, lack of answered prayer. I recognize where it's coming from and pray a lot but I wake up to it, endure it through the day and glad for sleep at night.

I was severely damaged by a pharmaceutical and I learned how corrupt the court system is. The first lawyers tried bullying me into accepting a pittance that wouldn't pay for the multi-thousands we paid out for medical care. My spouse had a good job but was forced to work two jobs - falling asleep at the wheel to pay for my medical care. I was forced back to work and was setting a display in pain and was in such bad shape I had to sit on the display almost passing out.

I would talk to others on a health forum who sat on there gossiping all day about spending the day at the beach or going to games while we were forced to support them on disability. I did not qualify so was forced to work. I could not understand why God seemed to provide for them but not for me. They would whine about Republicans taking their goodies - it was pretty loathsome. They were content to have others support them while lounging at the beach, playing golf, and attending ball games. They were liars. So that injustice stung.

I was prepped for surgery and the hospital refused to proceed until my spouse paid a hefty copay - in addition to paying our hefty health insurance bill. That same hospital was full of illegals getting completely free medical care. So that injustice stung. They all want their pound of flesh.

I was left in very bad bad shape. I found a new lawyer who turned out to be just as slimy. I thought he was different but he proved he was not. He and the pharmaceutical company had a backroom deal to give me a very low amount that would not reimburse us for the money we lost, not pay for the lifetime medical care I'll need, not pay us for 12 years of hell, and basically is a default death sentence. All the court cases you see are all a lie. Those they parade in front of juries are not the worst off. They simply have a pollyanish story that the lawyer can weave to convince the jury to give them a huge award. I watched it. Those who are really damaged and deserve compensation are those who suffer in silence at home - who the juries don't see or don't hear about. They languish in bed in a 12 x 12 room every day, suffering without compensation. What an education in corruption I got. That veil was ripped off. Lawyers are storytellers.

Our daughter worked at a pharmacy and had elderly unable to afford their copays for critical things such as diabetes medicine. They'd cry at her counter - then leave and go home to die. It's the "genocide" you don't hear about or read about in the news. Pharmacists call it "the donut hole."

I expected help from God and none came. I was left in excruciating pain while others walked off with high settlements who I know aren't suffering like I am. It's not like I would go buy a mansion - I never would; I live very frugally. I even fast for spiritual and health reasons and my food bill is cheaper. I actually wanted to do God's work if I got enough - now I don't have enough for medical care. There is longevity in my family so I'll run out of money. My doctor will not see me unless I pay a copay. It's murder is what it is. "Legal murder." I can't understand how God could allow evil people to prevail.

At first I refused it and the corrupt lawyers tried bullying me - I actually have a letter the pharmaceutical co. lawyers wrote so I could prove it easily and my husband witnessed it: they were threatening me until I warned them I was going to report them to the state bar and they stopped. That's completely illegal. But the Constitution is almost gone anyway.

I finally signed as the country is collapsing and I thought we'd end up with nothing. But it rips and tears at my mind to let those evil sons of Satan cheat me. I just got an email from my corrupt lawyer trying to take even more out of the pathetic amount I'm supposed to get. I actually freaked out on him I was so angry. I told him he made me want to vomit. My husband yelled at me to watch what I say but I felt like after all I've endured and dealing with this daily suffering I was going to explode if I didn't get it out. I told the lawyer he and those corrupt pharmaceutical lawyers were already under God's judgement and he'd better watch his step. The prior corrupt lawyers I had did come under God's judgement and were sued. I had prayed for judgement against them and it did come. I have every reason to believe that God's judgement will come to those corrupt lawyers - mine and the pharmaceutical companies. But I can't understand why God didn't help. I was in such emotional pain I drank several glasses of wine just to calm myself. And I don't drink. I couldn't sleep - I felt like I was going to crack - like the ground was moving from beneath me and everything I had believed about God was a lie.

I used to talk to a cop whose son was molested by their priests. They filed a lawsuit and the Catholic church (likely the antichrist or whore) had the lawsuit thrown out. That day the boy took an overdose and killed himself.

Where was God?

The bereaved father now spends his days picketing the church. The priests who ruined his son's life were given cushy retirements.

Where is God???

Now I'm dealing with corrupt sons of Satan who are basically handing me a death sentence. It's very hard to suffer physically but it's even harder when you're suffering physically without compensation. It's with me when I awake, through the day, and when I fall asleep at night.

Everything I had believed has been called into question. I know my faith isn't what it should be right now and I'm trying very hard to become the person God wants me to be. I just don't understand Him. My husband has been worked into the ground and I feel sorry for him having a damaged wife now. I see how my suffering hurts him. I see how it's aged him - and me. And the sons of the devil laugh all the way to the bank...

Could be. Very hard to do in practice when a situation is with you like an albatross around your neck.

No where do I see relationship with Christ in your posts, that is where we walk in His power.
"Keeping our mind stayed on Him", "praying without ceasing", and giving Him first place with every thought, word and deed.
Can you respond to post #22?
I think of marriages that fail, God has a plan for each persons life, we find and marry someone that Gos does NOT want us to marry, then we go to a church and ask for His blessing on something He had no part in, then we wonder what went wrong and why He didn't "fix" it.
best wishes

I believe the Restrainer has been removed. The evidence includes high towers and bastions of academic and scientific work being trampled by the masses on the whims of a few. The feelings of people are prompting the rewrite of long-held biological and societal beliefs. This ties back to the original lie "You will like God, defining for yourselves what is good and evil".
The restrainer is the Church, or rather, those in the Church who know their power and authority in Christ and exercise that power. This is why I believe that the overcoming church will be taken up before the Antichrist is revealed.

There is always a reason why things go wrong. The answer is to ask God why, not try to work it out yourself. A bit over a year ago, I started getting negative about life. COVID ran a wrecking ball through my hopes for the future, I was 69 (now 70) and I was thinking maybe it's time to go home. Not long after that, I became seriously ill, potentially life threatening.

I asked the Lord why. He said I'd opened myself up to Satan's attack on my health. I won't be doing that again! Which is something we need to remember. We are at war. Satan hates those who truly want to go God's way. If we let down out guard, Satan will take opportunity to attack. God will deal with our human enemies.

A pastor's wife who treated me like a son went of the track. She got mad at Christians who she thought had betrayed her husband. She fell away, lost the business her husband had started and began flirting with another man. She became like a stranger.

Unforgiveness is a blight and a curse on a Christian's life. We MUST forgive, no matter what we have endured. Lord Jesus, the only innocent one, said "Father forgive them" as they murdered Him the cruelest possible way. What right have we to hold onto a grudge?
This article will help. https://www.christianlife.org.au/can-you-forgive-from-your-heart

Hi saintrose
You have been blessed by the Spirit BC you have a warriors spirit.
This is your honing and spiritual training time.....armor up sister!

Let's look for a moment, can we agree that Satan cannot do anything to believers without God's permission ? ( JOB)
The Lord knows who you are and what you're capable of.

I see you at this moment like Gideon when choosing an army for battle,he had many men ready. The Lord said it was TOO MANY for him to deliver the Midianites into Gideon's hands.
The Lord instructed him to let his men water their horses and drink and he would tell Gideon who would help win the battle. Please read Judges ch.7.

Simple, that's how God works, we overwork by making things harder than they should be.

Rose I feel you've looked at how BIG and HARD this situation was getting and focused on the problems rather than the solution. God is ALWAYS our solution!

I too have been where you are and by looking at the situation,I became fearful. Fear is the opposite and killer of our faith!

It was hard BC I became depressed, angry at God and bitter BC I thought he had and was failing me.It was a time of great testing and I'm ashamed to say I left God,he won't help me I thought so I won't serve him was my attitude.

Sister did I ever suffer for that decision😭. My life became a DISASTER!
Divorced, became self serving rather than my child's mother....ect.

This could become a l o. n. g story but I will instead encourage you to just come into his presence and give it to him. You do not have to talk with him, just sit at his feet and let HIM TALK to you!
Do this as many times and as often as needed until you get a breakthrough.
Satan has hedged you in with doubt, fear, anger, depression, envy of others suffering less than you and loss of faith!

Please dear sister start reading the Psalms,read,re-read and read again until you feel that hedge coming down, then cry out Abba Father, help me and let him bear this burden that is way to heavy for you and your family.

I will be lifting you up BC we serve a God that DOES NOT FAIL and that loves us more than we can comprehend!

Islam is evil. Would you like us to pray for your people?
You don't have to list any names, God knows who you are. But perhaps give us the name of your region or island?
We can pray for Indonesian Christians and also for more Indonesian Muslims in your area to find the real Jesus.

“And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭12:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭5:8-9‬ ‭

“Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6:11-12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭2:15-17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.

And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭5:19-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

There is a war that spilled over into the earth between good and evil . Gods people have always been persecuted in the world by those of the world. Just as Jesus was.

It’s because we’re strangers on earth only passing through it’s not our home but only part of our journey to reach home there will always be strife in the world for Gods people until we reach home

“These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. …But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11:13-14, 16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭21:2-4‬ ‭

yes either way we all are going to cross through that veil of death but those in Christ are only passing through it’s strange we quote this at death

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭23:1-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭23:1-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

this world is in the shadow of death
Life on eart is temporary even if you are rich it is for short time, our goal is being eternal rich in heaven.
