That sums it up. Still I always pray psalms:

1O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself. 2Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud. 3LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph? 4How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves? 5They break in pieces thy people, O LORD, and afflict thine heritage. 6They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless. - psalm 94

O LORD, how long shall I cry, and thou wilt not hear! even cry out unto thee of violence, and thou wilt not save! - Habbakuk

How long, O LORD? Will You forget me forever? How long will You hide Your face from me? - Psalm 13
He’s not hiding anymore

“For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭

his face was hidden from Israel because of thier constant transgression and abominations. His face is revealed in Jesus Christ and the gospel offering remission of sins that hide us from the lords face

I have endured many battles and now I feel like Elijah sitting under the broom tree asking to die. I'm weary. Very weary. I'm trying to do God's work while I can but I'm tired. Waiting for God to give at least one ounce of help and it's not coming.
I wasn't aware it was that dire for you. Not to be crude, but I encourage you to look for the gift within the manure. There's a diamond in there someplace for you, I just know it.

Aside from Jesus' sermons, I find rest in reading Paul's letters. I can't explain it, maybe because they are Gospel-centered? Also, he knew how to give encouragement, unlike many in leadership today.

Keep watching Yabbi Schnyder and reading your bible. The hurt may never pass, but you can at least medicate it with God's Word.

I liken my spiritual pain to that of my shoulder injury. It keeps bugging me a little every day, but I have learned to manage the pain.

Thank for your sympathy, I pray for him too but never fast for him yet. I may try to fast for him when I feel better, I have been sick for 5 days. Actually I never meet mr kece, but I listen his preaching a lot from YouTube. I learn about his arrest from online news paper, than google from YouTube.
Indonesian pastor that work in German his name is josepth Paul Shang talk on the YouTube, he say he try to apply political asylum to German, in 2 week he collect about 60 thousand US dollar from Christian in German, Indonesia an us.he try to find good lawyer for mr kece and he didn't take donation anymore because he think that money is more than enough to pay good lawyer. Mr kece is very intelegent, I am Indonesian but I work in the us too and love to have him here if possible.
I watch in the YouTube, one Indonesian pastor that work in San Francisco also try to help him to get asylum to us. He also ex Muslim, convert to Christian, ministry among drug addict, than Muslim try yo kill him, he was not die but lost 13 of his teeth, with broken breastbone and some body help him to go to us for political asylum. I hope with his experience he can help mr kece.
Note, I never meet those pastor in person, only watch their YouTube.
I am thankful that enough was raised for a good lawyer. Some people can be very cruel and for him to be under the power of others is very disturbing. I read that's who killed Malcolm X but you can't trust the media.

I don't get publicly exposing a person as the meaning of "reprove".
I am taking that as going to them and speaking to them personally.
I guess it's how one interprets the verse. If you talk with 10 different believers they will interpret Scripture 10 different ways. And they all believe that 'their' interpretation is correct.

Dear Rose,
You will never overcome or move forward if you do not find FORGIVENESS in your heart!

If we don't forgive we WONT be forgiven!

Let it go!
Give it to God!
I have found that when I don't actively 'try' to forgive then it happens. I'm not 'holding' unforgiveness' I'm just not thinking about it. That's the way that I've found works for me.

That all sounds very spiritual but in the nitty-gritty of life, when you pray for relief and justice and it doesn't come then it's hard to sustain that. It seems as if the promises are all a lie.

Do you think the apostles didn't question as they were about to be beheaded, or hung upside down on a cross? Or the numerous martyrs down through the years? I'm sure they all questioned. God says he wants truth in our innermost being and I'm truthful enough to face the fact that sometimes it all doesn't make sense and those Christians who try to sound spiritual don't know yet - not until they cross the bridge of deep, intense, prolonged, suffering.

It's easy to have faith when you're in a comfy house, well-fed, and in good general health - it's when all those things go wrong and you cry out for relief and none comes is when the rubber hits the road and when you think: wait a minute...what about all those promises?

It's a deeper kind of wrestling because you know what happened to you with spiritual rebirth and yet when it comes to claiming all the promises it just doesn't cut it. God ignores your cries.

I read about those who walked away from their faith. One young lady was from all accounts a strong believer; then she was brutally raped. She felt different from her Christian peers and tried to continue on for awhile. Then she couldn't keep up the charade anymore and became an unbeliever - where was God when that happened?

A pastor at a bible study we went to told of a woman whose daughter burned to death in a makeshift trailer at a theme park. She walked away from God. She eventually went back the last I heard but I don't know now.

I saw a documentary about a young Guatemalan girl promised work in America by a Mexican grandmother. Instead the Mexican grandmother made her a prostitute. She was kept a prisoner in a dirty Texas building and raped up to 100 times a day. I'll never forget the detective said "She was a religious girl and she couldn't understand how God could let that happen to her."

Besides the physical and emotional trauma that young lady probably had demonic transfers as I read that's how it occurs. Those memories will always be with her: smells, sights, feelings - will all be triggered.

I watched the worst documentary ever: An American Crime about two sisters left in the care of a psychopath. I can't even recount it - it upset me so bad. I yelled at God - the girl went to church - that's where her parents met the psychopath who tortured and murdered her.

I'm sure as she lay on the cold basement floor after being tortured she called out to God. No help came.

It's easy to be an armchair theologian but let something really bad happen and that's when you find out if the promises are true or not. All the flowery language and pious Scripture quoting doesn't cut it. You prayed and God didn't answer.

There is so much I don't understand yet but I do question God - as soon as I wake up, through the day, and when before I sleep.

My former snooty Christian 'friend' was sickening. I look back on who she and her husband really were - not who I thought they were. They taught Bible, attended church every week, and then when it came time to really walk their talk they cheated that older black couple out of the money they owed them - using the excuse that 'they didn't have insurance.'

I've encountered many of those types. They fill churches across America. But when the time comes they're just as greedy and ungodly as the unchurched.

My husband did thousands of dollars worth of work on our former church and yet when he could not longer do it when I got so bad the pastor completely cut me off. It's actually laughable now when I look at it. Real big Christians. At least I can laugh about it. That's when you really see what someone is made of.

Getting back to the sleazy lawyer. This is what I'm dealing with: he's such a liar and manipulator he emailed me and tried to make himself out to be the victim. I've lived through so many battles I've lost count but I know almost all of the tactics and one of them is playing the victim. I know how words are used and misused. It was actually comical that he tried that on me because I've lived through so much that he couldn't do it. I do believe God also gave me wisdom and discernment. I still can't understand why he won't give me victory. But therein lies my struggle.

My husband attained a top position and dealt with many people. He told me the "mediation" was a lie - that they had the low amount agreed upon before it even happened. Now the greedy son of satan is trying to take more - and he probably has a buddy judge who will declare that he gets even more.

I did prevail in another case with God's help however. A misguided sibling tried taking thousands out of my inheritance and got a corrupt lawyer to try to take it. I was forced to battle them for two years. We went to court and unbelievably the judge was honest and sided with me. The corrupt sibling and corrupt lawyer were publicly shamed. They should have both gone to jail. The lawyer's boss - a "Christian" called me and told me that he and his 73 lawyers would sue me and force me to remove my honest review - which I surmise was damaging his business.

I didn't remove it.

It's illegal to threaten someone in that manner but lawyers break the law all the time.

So I've seen so much and while I know what happened to me was real and I have seen God move I still question. Not much makes sense to me. I know we see through a glass darkly but I'm weary. I think my faith is faltering because faith cometh by hearing and I stopped reading the Word every day but even when I read it every day without fail bad things happened. It's as in Psalm 73.

I've sensed God so close at times - and I long for that - 'as in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water.' Yet life plugs on and hardships and I only get blips of those close times with God.

These are just my honest struggles and if others were honest they'd admit them too - but most Christians aren't honest. Most don't have a deep faith that's exercised in the trenches of life. I've seen it and lived it.

If we talk to 10 born again Holy Spirit filled and led believers we will get the same answer for they will seek first Holy Spirit guidance and He always tells truth.
If you ask 10 pseudo christians then yes, you may well get 10 different and erroneous answers.

I often take the Holy Spirit for granted. I just assume He is there working inside of me. But I probably should thank God more for Him.

I can barely stand to read alternative news due to the craziness - we're being attacked from every side. I don't really have the stomach for it.
I have decided to go on a news fast for at least two weeks. I wonder if you would join me.

I did it for about three days sometime back. And even in that short period, I felt a sense of peace like I had not felt in a long time.

A news fast is where you no longer watch or read news of any kind for a specific duration. News to avoid includes:

  • Mainstream liberal media channels, including ABC, NBC, CBS
  • Fox News channels, including cable, network, YouTube, and web media channels
  • Left-wing cable news, including MSNBC, CNN, and CNBC
  • Conservative talk radio
  • YouTube political commentaries, left or right
  • Newspapers, local and national
  • News magazines including US News, Time, and whoever else is still alive and kicking
  • News-laden sites such as Yahoo, Breitbart, and BBC
In addition, I intend to avoid visiting any other forums other than this one we are on now.

I know it is a lot to ask, but it will be one of the most liberating experiences you and I will go through. Are you with me?

In the interest of full disclosure, I already have a head start on you. :)

Dear saintrose,

Personally i have been attacked by evil when i was young, physically twice, in deeams, many times, i was very young then and did not know what attacked me, i had not read the bible then but i always felt God's presence or rather knew he was there. Later on as a young adult i found Christ the son of God through reading the bible. I fell in love immediately, i beleive in him and know that he is always watching those who belong to him. Know that he will never abandon you and is with you. Your faith must not waver. Open your heart to God pray constantly, keep your mind always on God and his commandments and kindness. Keep your eyes and ears opened and listen closely, you will be surprised! Our heavenly father listens and sometimes answers in his own way but always with the utmost benevolence.
Also from your initial post of this thread, i beleive that we are at the end times, i keep seeing in my mind over and over ´´Jacobs trouble.´ and the fact that the current world events seem to fit very well with many end times prophecy is scary and troubling, i am studying this topic at this time but it is most complex and require a lot of learning on my part but i keep reading and watching world events...

Jesus is the son of God i follow his words.

sorry for my bad english i am a french canadian from Quebec

Peace be with you.

I do believe there are 'pseudo' christians. Many are called but few are chosen. Who are the chosen? God knows.
I also believe there are true believers whose eyes haven't been opened to specific truths yet. The pastor who taught our bible study was a sincere man yet when I tried telling him that the Rapture is false, that the alleged country of Israel flies a satanic flag, he refused to look into it. They were talking about 9-11 and he promoted the idea that foreigners with boxcutters did it and when I said our own government did it he ignored me and continued talking about the foreigners who did it. He was deceived and promoting deception. Anyone who is a thinking person knows that heat does not melt buildings and nothing about that incident adds up. We have been lied to about close to everything. I warned him about the 'vaccine' - the Jesuits invented the poisoned needle - and he blurted arrogantly "I'll be first in line to get it!"

It's more dangerous when a pastor is deceived and closes his mind against truth that he's confronted with as a pastor then spreads deception. I saw through Trump and tried warning others and a friend dropped me - falsely accusing me of being a closet liberal - which is a lie. I endured the worst attacks from other "believers" - one guy in particular was vile and abusive and everyone on there went along with it. It reminded me of Christ's words: "Have I become your enemy because I tell you the truth?"

And I don't believe that pastor was a pseudo Christian. He repeated what he's heard the false preachers say: that it's the star of David. Yet if he would have taken the time to research it he would have found it's a lie and that Scofield was a false teacher.

I had a funny Christian neighbor who was beset by many problems - she was one of the few truly honest Christians I'd met. She said that she and her husband used to fight but now they 'fight scripturally.' So even husbands and wives interpret scripture differently.

Maybe at some point my views will change but from what I have seen there are sincere believers who don't interpret scripture the same way.

Yes! I do not watch TV at all anymore. I canceled cable (had an argument on that one:) but our TV's are done. They are "programming" the masses through it. I cannot control what is happening but I can control what gets piped into my house. I only read Sons of Liberty Media, Activist Post, and Lew Rockwell. I sometimes watch videos on Goyim TV as there are some believers who have the gift of discernment who post there and have opened my eyes to deception. I think we have to watch for any storms on the horizon which is why I continue to use those few sites. However there have been times when my sensitive spirit cannot bear to hear anymore and I shut everything out for a few days. I don't think we're meant to hear all the bad news all the time.

There are some bad 'Christian' forums out there. I know of at least 3. One was really evil and when I spoke with someone who was on there, he told me the 'Christian' site was owned by two men living in sin. So that explained some things. Another forum had a very abusive man on there. He would follow me and say the worst things you could think of - I didn't know why. But I told him to go post his own threads if he disagreed with mine. He did and no one answered his threads. So he jumped back on my threads and continued to harass me. My husband said it sounds like something was wrong mentally with him. But what was telling was that no one would rebuke him when he got vile. I saw him abuse others and he must have been a financial supporter because the site owner let him get away with everything. I finally left. There was a bad spirit on there - demonic probably. I don't mind someone disagreeing with me - I welcome it because I may need an adjustment - but that guy was downright abusive and would call names. I think he had several sock accounts because he would always have 'others' on there who rubber-stamped his abuse. Something was really off about him and that site. I recall reading that demons are assigned to every church and I knew something bad was on that site. I spoke with one decent man who said he was going to start a support group for those abused on the one "Christian" site. What a terrible false christianity those sites pretended to be.

You are wiser than I have been. I wish I had given TV up long ago. I was at someone's house and could not stand to hear the paid liars on one of the main news stations and I told them to turn it off. It was like swallowing poison.

John 8:43-45
Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me.

Revelation 20:10

“And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”

I am trying to get to the point of believing that God is 'working all things out for good' but in practice it's hard. I do sense God speaking to me through those on this forum which I am very grateful for. I remember in Pilgrim's Progress Christian was sinking in the slough of despond - something like that. And my faith has been tried by fire. I identify with Elijah who sat under a tree and asked to be taken out. God didn't answer him though and he was strengthened to continue in battle.

I think these are the end times and Satan is pouring out his poison and the beast is arising. These are very trying times.

I believe the pastor was sincere yet deceived. We at one point were deceived. "In what manner you also used to walk..." (from memory; unsure of verse) I believe a number of people on the other forums were 'pseudo' 'christians' - controlled by the devil.

I am having my faith attacked. I expected help from God and none came so doubts that I had settled long ago crept back in. There are so many promises in the Bible and very few seem to come true. I have even screamed at God for not helping when I expected help from Him. I used to talk to a lawyer who walked away from God after handling priest sex abuse cases.

Where was God?

I had something pretty bad happen to me and I walked away from God but there was nothing else. I even had a Christian "friend" whose life sailed along smoothly behave like a hypocrite and like Job's friends accuse of doing 'something' wrong. Yet I watched her and her husband cheat a couple out of money after their son hit the woman's car. So why isn't she getting hit? Judgement begins with the house of God.

I am watching someone else that I care about be tormented from lack of God helping. His marriage and business fell apart -and he's turned to substances - and he's the best person I have ever known in my entire life. He lives christianity more than any pastor I've known. It really hurts. It's as if the very foundation and underpinnings of my faith are being shaken. Where are the promises? Why is he suffering and not another?

A so-called "Christian" lawyer cheated my father's estate out of money. His son was a drug dealer in our town and is now a lawyer in daddy's firm. I posted an honest review and he called and threatened that he and his 73 lawyers would sue me. I did not remove it. Where is God's judgement on them??? He's a christian my foot. I know Psalm 73 but it still doesn't cut it when issues go on and on and on and you see absolutely no justice and you see a good person suffer continually. I see why the disciples despaired of life. Even my spouse said last night life seems not worth living - it's one problem after another. Then watching someone so good being demolished while others prosper is too much to bear.
Ok
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ., deliver you from the realm of circumstances.
All the instances you are describing are all circumstances

our faith is not determined by circumstances. I believe what you are being shown is that you need to move into the realm of the, what I call, "in spite of God". you follow him in spite of any and all circumstances you don't have Victory because things are going right .

you have victory because he says you have victory.

we put on Victory ,we walk in Victory in spite of anything and everything going on around us.

Victory is something you step into .
in the Psalms we see King David cry out why do the wicked prosper.
why why do they seem to triumph over me?.

But our focus is the Lord.

Remember...we have seasons. Seasons of peace and prosperity.
But other unpleasant and even horrific seasons.

But look....we can " enjoy the ride" even in horrific times if we step into faith and step into God.

Get faith moving
Build faith. Read faith books. Get into intimate worship.

Walk a faith walk. Let all those circumstances be cast down and let JOY JOY JOY OVERTAKE YOU.
Learn to laugh at the devil.
Laughter is a weapon.
A weapon.

Get Joy and holy laughter.

Start laughing

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

Ho ho ho ho ho ho ho

He he he he he he he.

Joy is your strength.
The Joy of the lord is my strength
