WHAT is TRUTH?

angel is a created being. the Spirit of Christ was not created as angels were. do you being the Spirit of Christ was created?
The angels were crated by Christ (didn't have that title), and the Christ by Jehovah.
You know the scriptural references, but you mind has been clouded to think them symbolic!

Well, let's see!

Col 1:13- who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the son of His love;
14- in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins:
15- who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation!

15- who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation!

FYI Firstborn of all creation is not saying Jesus has created LOl. it is saying Jesus is and was a part of the Creation as John chapter 1:3 says : All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

He is the first who conceived the idea of creation from the very foundations. You took one verse out of Colossians to say Jesu was created? LOL read the whole chapter guy.

that chapter covers :

Preeminence of Christ

16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.

This is speaking about Jesus.

:17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.

:18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

First born means the Originator of the action HE Jesus is the first bord from the dead.
He is the first of creation= the creator
He is the first to defeat death= the first to be resurrected by HIS power= Lord
He is the first without sin because HE is God = Savior

You are greatly errored in who Jesus is. Frankly, one cannot be saved with this kind of thinking according to the word of God

I agree! Man was created to live forever in the flesh, because of original sin and thereby spiritual death, physical death became mandatory.

But through faith in Christ, He has made a way for man to return to God's original plan for man, to live in the flesh forever. This is accomplished through the resurrection of life.
“So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:

It is sown a natural body;

it is raised a spiritual body.

There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.

As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.

And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:42-45, 47-49‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I’m not sure but my opinion is that we are going to have new glorified spiritual and eternal Bodies to fulfill the promise of the children of God and not flesh and blood bodies

“Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:50‬ ‭KJV‬‬

it seems what we are now is like a ooor reflection of what we are made to be and will be redeemed to In the end , mans true state is to reflect the image of God to the world and walk in his will upon the earth.

Mortal flesh cannot enter into the presence of the Almighty, but immortal flesh will.

When Jesus rose from the dead and showed Himself, He had a body of flesh, no longer mortal, but immortal, indestructible.

John said that when we see Him we shall be like Him! This is the body of flesh the born-again will receive.

In order to accept such a notion as someone who uses the Bible as their source of information related to the soul, people who believe in “soul sleep” must reject the following Biblical proclamations:

Souls Are Alive With God Immediately After the Death of the Body
Luke 23:39-43 and Ecclesiastes 12:5-7

Souls Are Functional Immediately After the Death of the Body
Luke 16:19-31

Souls Are Available Immediately After the Death of the Body
Matthew 17:1-3 and Matthew 22:31-32

Souls Are the Source of Life Immediately After the Death of the Body

1 Kings 17:19-23
Easy to explain. ... comma's were not in the original Greek, Put the comma after today in verse 43 and the meaning has nothing to do with going to heaven that day. but that Jesus told him that day.
Luk 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee to day, shalt thou be with me in paradise.
Ecc 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
Ecc 12:8 Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher; all is vanity.
The spirit is not an intelligent personality but the spirit of God that was given to Adam and eve when their life started.
Spirit of God like the life that comes from God.

Luke 16:19-31 the rich man and Lazarus
It’s comes in a list of parables. The Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary defines “parable” as “a usually short fictitious story that illustrates a moral attitude or a religious principle.” The story of the rich man and Lazarus comes at the end of a string of parables filled with symbolic, non-literal illustrations (see Luke 15). For instance, in the parable of the lost sheep, Jesus is certainly not teaching that His followers have four legs or eat grass; it’s all metaphor for a greater spiritual point.
It contains an impossible conversation. The parable portrays the rich man in “Hades” speaking directly to Lazarus in “Abraham’s bosom.” Can people in heaven have conversations with people in hell? For that matter, do people in heaven really watch people burning in hell? Not according to Jesus, who describes a “great gulf fixed” between the saved and the lost (Luke 16:26).
It uses clear symbolic imagery. The rich man wants Abraham to send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool his tongue (verse 24). This must be symbolic—because it can’t possibly happen physically. How much water could pass through the flames, and what help would it provide someone suffering in hell?
It uses figurative expressions. Do the people who died with faith in Christ find their rest in Abraham’s literal bosom? How big is Abraham’s bosom? This must be a figurative expression, for we know that angels will gather the saints at the second coming of Christ (see Matthew 24:30, 31).
The real message of this parable is often and unfortunately lost because people use it to try to prove something Jesus wasn’t even talking about.
It would otherwise contradict the rest of Scripture. If this story were literal, it would be hard to explain why the Bible says “in death there is no remembrance” (Psalm 6:5). Instead, those who die are asleep in the grave awaiting resurrection (1 Thessalonians 4:15, 16). The Bible compares death to sleep over 50 times. See one example by Jesus in John 11:11–14.

Mat 17:3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.
If you study the bible God made a special exception for the soul (body and life) of Moses and Elijah didn't see death.

Mat 22:23 The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him,......
Jesus was helping the Sadducees to see that there is a future resurrection.
Mat 22:32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
The resurrection will give life to the saved.

1Ki 17:22 And the LORD heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived.
soul = nephesh
From H5314; properly a breathing creature, that is, animal or (abstractly) vitality; used very widely in a literal, accommodated or figurative sense (bodily or mental). - any, appetite, beast, body, breath,

There are many more verses that say the opposite to what you are trying to prove. You have already made up your mind which is sad.

“The body without the spirit is dead” (James 2:26).
“The spirit of God is in my nostrils” (Job 27:3). The spirit that returns to God at death is the breath of life. Nowhere in all of God’s book does the “spirit” have any life, wisdom, or feeling after a person dies. It is the “breath of life” and nothing more.

“The Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul” (Genesis 2:7).

“The soul that sinneth, it shall die” (Ezekiel 18:20 ).
“Every living soul died in the sea” (Revelation 16:3 ).
According to God’s Word, souls do die. We are souls, and souls die. Man is mortal (Job 4:17).
Only God is immortal (1 Timothy 6:15, 16). The concept of an undying, immortal soul is not found in the Bible, which teaches that souls are subject to death.

“All who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth” (John 5:28, 29). “David … is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. … For David did not ascend into the heavens” (Acts 2:29, 34). “If I wait, the grave is mine house” (Job 17:13).
People do not go to heaven or to hell at death. They don’t go anywhere—but they wait in their graves for the resurrection.

“The living know that they will die; but the dead know nothing, and they have no more reward, for the memory of them is forgotten. Also their love, their hatred, and their envy have now perished; nevermore will they have a share in anything done under the sun. … There is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going” (Ecclesiastes 9:5, 6, 10).
“The dead do not praise the Lord” (Psalm 115:17).
God says that the dead know absolutely nothing!

“Man lies down and does not rise. Till the heavens are no more, they will not awake nor be roused from their sleep. … His sons come to honor, and he does not know it; they are brought low, and he does not perceive it” (Job 14:12, 21).
“Nevermore will they have a share in anything done under the sun” (Ecclesiastes 9:6).
The dead cannot contact the living, nor do they know what the living are doing. They are dead. Their thoughts have perished (Psalm 146:4).

These are all from the Bible, please consider them

Adam and Eve were probably going to live forever in the flesh before they sinned then the plan went to putting off the flesh they corrupted and having a glorified body and a new earth where sin has never been and sin will never be.

a comma? Listen, You have not taken the context of the question asked of Jesus by the thief, which was :

Luke 23:42" Then he said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.”

This question as asked because they were about to die. You are suggesting Jesus response if I understand you was,

"And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee to day, shalt thou be with me in paradise."

Jesus said "43And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”

Jesus was on a real Cross dying a real death between two real thieves one repented the other did not. I guess Jesus lied to the thief? Jesus told the thief something as he was dying to make him feel better before he died huh?

Jesus literally was raised from the dead and is alive. In addition, the parable Jesus told was metaphorical He told them to amplify and reveal a hidden truth.

The comment of Paul vs. 44, that "there is a natural body and there is a spiritual body is referring to this Glorified Body being energized by the power of the Holy Spirit, not by the blood being circulated through our present body.

So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption. It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power. It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

- 1 Corinthians 15:42-44 (NKJV)

The topic at hand is the dead and what happens to it. This is what happens to the flesh body, for this body is bound to corruption and decay from the day each of us is born to the day we die. This is referred to as the aging process. When this flesh body is finished, the soul that is within it is raised in incorruption. We have two bodies—the corruptible body which ages and is made of dust, and the incorruptible body which shall never age and get old. The difference between the two is that one body is made of flesh while the other is spiritual. Flesh bodies are corruptible; spiritual bodies are incorruptible.

Remember your Creator before the silver cord is loosed, Or the golden bowl is broken, Or the pitcher shattered at the fountain, Or the wheel broken at the well. Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, And the spirit will return to God who gave it.

- Ecclesiastes 12:6-7 (NKJV)

As I said, the scripture does not tell us the substance of this flesh that is the glorified body.

We don't know, as John said we don't know. But John said when we see Him we shall be like Him.

Jesus' body at the resurrection is the body we will receive at the resurrection, and it's not a spirit.

Hey, Charlie. . .
I’m pretty sure that the terms "resurrection body" and "glorified body" can be used interchangeably. It’s our celestial/spiritual body!

But someone will say, "How are the dead raised up? And with what body do they come?" Foolish one, what you sow is not made alive unless it dies. And what you sow, you do not sow that body that shall be, but mere grain—perhaps wheat or some other grain. But God gives it a body as He pleases, and to each seed its own body. All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of animals, another of fish, and another of birds. There are also celestial bodies and terrestrial bodies; but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differs from another star in glory. And so it is written, "The first man Adam became a living being." The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual. The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven. As was the man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man. Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed — in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory." "O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?" The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

1 Cor. 15:40

"There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another."

"Celestial bodies" is referring to the Sun, the Moon, the Stars, etc.

"Terrestrial bodies" is referring to earthly bodies, man, animals, trees, etc.

Paul is showing us the difference in the "glory" of these bodies. The glory differs in these bodies.

vs. 42,

"So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:"

"So also is the resurrection of the dead" is referring to the faithfulness of some being greater and therefore greater glory.

Then Paul goes on to tell us the difference in the "natural body" and the "spiritual body."

The "natural body" is sown in corruption-- sin, this is the body that is energized by blood before death and goes to the grave.

The "spiritual body" which is energized by the power of Holy Spirit at the resurrection, no longer by blood, is raised in power not weakness as our former bodies. This body is no longer mortal, but immortal.

Mortal flesh cannot enter into the presence of the Almighty, but immortal flesh will.

When Jesus rose from the dead and showed Himself, He had a body of flesh, no longer mortal, but immortal, indestructible.

John said that when we see Him we shall be like Him! This is the body of flesh the born-again will receive.
yes amen but also he was able to just disappear and appear in a form of flesh

And also appeared transfigured on the Mount as the heavenly presence. Who’s face shines with the brightness of the sun and clothes are as lightning

I think that there are two realms of creation earth and the heavens

and so we have a body made for earthly existence which is mortal and temporal.

But then a spiritual form of that same body that’s made for the eternal
Things after one goes into death and realizes it’s only another stage of existence.

when the folks rise from the grave it’s not going to be flesh and blood it’s going to be the spiritual eternal
Form of who they were that rises for judgement that lives in and then slept in the dead body.

I think Jesus flesh and blood went into heaven for sure he’s the eternal
Perfect body but I don’t think our flesh will enter but our permanent form I think will be one suited for eternity and able to dwell also on earth like
In the early ot alot Of times men from heaven appeared as Men and other times as angels of Light

I believe there’s an eternal place we can’t see yet and can’t grasp yet but will when we pass through death into the next place. I think we will really get it after we pass through the first death as believers but that’s just my own view

Jesus told one that they would be with Him in heaven and said nothing to the other one.

No question that one would be with Jesus in heaven, but when? Today you will be with me in heaven -- or i tell you today, you will be with me in heaven..

When did Jesus go to heaven. We know from the bible that Jesus did not go that day to heaven. So the thief was not with Jesus that day in heaven and Jesus does not lie.
