Lafftur covered this well, the non Spirit filled will not be able to understand the Spirit filled.
spirit filled is the goal we should pursue.
OF COURSE NO ONE SHOULD STAY IN AN ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIP

We were to seek His guidance in dating, in marrying, in everything, so we don't end in abusive relationships, if we have failed this, then seek His guidance in what to do, as we should in ALL things.
If we have problems here it is never His fault, He gave us every instruction we need to live in Galatians 5 attributes.
best wishes- seriously, I wish you well.

relationships are one thing as said...leaving is easy to say to someone actually DOING it is what people need the help with

family members and workplace situations are another.

if the youtube videos dont address this.. they are a bit useless TBH. shittim i think you always get the wrong end of the stick because nobody is blaming God for any of this. But you seem insistent on providing non answers.

I remember a friend telling me how she helped another friend escape from an abusive relationship with a partner by hiding her and her son on the bus.

Cos if he did find her, he was going to literally kill her. How dare she leave. That kind of thing.

THen she had to go somewhere where he couldnt track her down. Am sure she prayed about all this beforehand. I do t know all detail but its that kind of despeartion when you encounter abuse

sort of like the Exodus...with Pharoah being the narcissist.
You dont cross him cos well, how dare you deflate his ego. He built an empire on the backs of your hard labour. But now the slaves want to leave.

How do you do this. Even when you get permission to leave. You might then be faced with the Red Sea and no way to get across. Right?

God knows the end from the beginning, He knew when He led His Own to the edge of the Red Sea it was a trap for the Egyptian Army. He provided salvation.

I like the way she directs to the root of the narcissist, it is a spiritual war.

As a psychologist I can say that narcissistic personality disorder is not that common. Many times we tend to see the faults of others as narcissism when in reality they may have several small issues to work on. 😊

As a Christian we know there are only 2 kingdoms, His and the adversary, we either serve the Father in line with Galatians c5 -v22-23 or we serve the adversary who comes to steal, kill and destroy.
"Symptoms" are merely the footprints left behind by the adversary.

This was interesting, the Narcissist who wears a Christian mask, sadly we all might know this trait from someone in church.

This was interesting, the Narcissist who wears a Christian mask, sadly we all might know this trait from someone in church.
2Ti 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2Ti 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
2Ti 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
2Ti 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
2Ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Looks like the Scriptures called it once again. By the way, a great way to avoid narcissists in a relationship... don't put out. Save sex for marriage. This ONE THING is going to drive away a lot of the wrong kinds of people that you shouldn't be with in the first place.
