Psalm 104:26
Ships sail over the ocean, and playing there is Leviathan, the great sea creature you made.

Isa 27:1

Contemporary English Version
On that day, Leviathan, the sea monster, will squirm and try to escape, but the LORD will kill him with a cruel, sharp sword.

Good News Translation
On that day the LORD will use his powerful and deadly sword to punish Leviathan, that wriggling, twisting dragon, and to kill the monster that lives in the sea.

The part some translation mistranslated as snake is really about how the creature tries to escape.

RA obiviously has me on ignore😭😭😭😭

We can NOT convince another of God's divine and supreme power unless the Spirit moves on that stony heart!

Paul was told" ALMOST thou persuadeth me.......
God resists the proud and rejects the stubborn spirit.

Those that follow so called " preachers, pastors" that INSTRUCT you on how to speak in tongues are of THEIR FATHER, the devil!

We are in the closing out of this age and when he who will let be taken out of the way......ALL HELL will break lose.

Many who are faithful to man and his interpretations will find themselves here on earth to remain after Christ comes. There will be no pointing fingers or you deceived me accusations, every man's sins are on their own heads.

Today, today is the day for you to be blood bought, sin stains cleansed, and learning at the WORDS feet. We are privileged to live in the age where the scripture is mostly free and can be readily accessed.

Let the scales of your disbelief fall from your spiritual eyes! Be ready to lay aside the WEIGHT and every SIN THAT BESETS YOU and keeps you under darkness.

IT doesn't hurt.
There is no pain only gain.
Accept or reject all that God has for you.

Let go of your fear and let Faith bloom like a mustard seed!

It can be like the verse, "I planted, Apollos watered, God received the increase", sometimes as w just
"bump" a person closer, holy spirit will work in them.

That is how it looks to me, they are just "playing church", they may love Jesus and the Father very much yet may not be in personal relationship as required , I hope they indeed can be saved on that day.
We must be guided by God's word...they will loose
Yep, that is true. It's a "religious spirit" NOT the Holy Spirit the person is relying on.

A religious spirit is rooted in pride and puffed up with vain human reasoning knowledge of the scriptures...this is where all the different denominations and doctrines of man and devils come from.

A person with a religious spirit has to deny the Holy Spirit which is the "power" because the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth and those that operate in pride reject the Truth.

Care to give us a definition of.....religious spirit....?

Leviathan is not a snake. LOL
No he isn't a snake even though he is a dragon and a truly terrible beast filled with anger - when his time is become short.

I believe that the precept of a snake stems from an Edenic meaning and alludes to the serpent in the garden and thereafter the serpent with no legs (being judged) and confined to eat dust upon its belly. That hardly holds true with Leviathan unless you include the beast who comes up out of the sea at the tribulation and the great dragon who is cast down filled with wrath knowing that his time is short. As with most spiritual realities - there is a former meaning and a latter meaning and a connective tissue. Perhaps Job was writing about a former meaning in rather the same way far too many believer still call Satan - Lucifer.

We love to give these type of claims credence and seldom see just how mistaken they are - because we are too busy trying to choreograph a stage that is not in our theatre of understanding unless the Lord opens the veil. Well that is the character of the pdf - its an attempt to establish a named women as a prophetess. It must be galling to come under that nonsense. And yet it is a mistake to humour it and imagine that such false ministries don't have a profound effect on others who believe the so-called deep things of Satan.

So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Too often a "religious spirit" will work to make themselves right for God, Jesus did it all at Calvary. We don't "work" for salvation, we accept His sacrifice and walk out His life through us.
He only did what He saw the Father do, He ony said what He heard the Father say.

oh I know all about your 'proof' scriptures having interacted with you in numerous threads over time

you forget to tell people you are also a Oneness Pentecostal and do not believe in the Trinity and have several other doctrines that most of us here have indicated are not to be found in scripture

this is not the thread to attempt to convince people they are not saved if they do not speak in tongues...you have several threads going in which to promote your beliefs. don't hijack this one

again we are sealed with the Spirit of God when we first believe....sure Paul asked about receiving the Holy Spirit....most of us had an experience after our initial salvation as in found in the book of Acts....and you KNOW scripture says this

In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, Ephesians 1:13

nothing about speaking in tongues....the gospel itself does not mention speaking in tongues. the gospel is about Christ and salvation through His blood....you make a major doctrine out of a gift that Paul himself describes as the least of the gifts.

Paul never told anyone they were not saved if they did not speak in tongues.

HE DID NOT, SO WHY ARE YOU SAYING THAT TO PEOPLE?

this is not up for further debate. you have multiple threads in which to argue Oneness Pentecostalism

don't make this thread all about you
Although we differ in our understanding I don't attempt to demean you and would like the same respect. My initial comment, consistent with the thread topic, was in answer to someone else. You interjected yourself into the conversation.

The scripture you reference indicates people put their trust in Jesus and were sealed with the Holy Spirit after believing the word of truth, the gospel of salvation. The gospel of salvation was first presented on the Day of Pentecost. (Acts 2:30-39) And afterward spread as referenced in Acts 8:12-18, 9:17-18, 10:44-48, 19:1-6, 22:16.

In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, Ephesians 1:13

This is no proof! This were events which made clear to the jews that thecHoly Spirit makes no difference!
Btw Acts was not written when Paul wrote his letter to the Cotinthians. And 1. COR 12,3P says clear that not all Christians will receive the gift of speaking in tongues.
The record of the 12 Ephesus disciples receiving the Holy Ghost as evidenced by speaking in tongues says otherwise. (Acts 19:1-6) This event happened some 20 years after the initial experiences happened to Jews, Samaritans, and Gentiles. We also know that Paul spoke in tongues.

We’ve been given sooooo many gifts from God our Father in Heaven….speaking in tongues is just one of MANY!

It is our Father’s Will that sinners be saved and sealed, baptized and filled with His Holy Spirit and filled with the knowledge of His Word!

Tongues is NOT false but, there is a counterfeit….you’ll know the difference….No Fear!(y)
Unless you know the language yourself, or someone nearby knows it and can translate what is being said into your native tongue, word for word, how would you know if someone is using a God given gift, or merely uttering something akin to baby babble that has been conjured up by their own vain imagination!

Yes, and it's possible to tell whether or not those that claim to be filled with the Holy Spirit, actually are. There are signs that will tell you, and those signs are not of the so-called supernatural types.

Their normal attitudes and behaviour, how Christlike, or un-Christlike, they speak and act. That will tell me if they are truly filled/under the control of the Holy Spirit, or rather that they are merely just imagining they are, or they have convinced themselves that they are, or the religious institution they belong to tells them/infers that they are.

To me it seems like "religious spirit" is an umbrella term for anyone a person feels is "quenching the Spirit." It's subtle because we shouldn't quench the Spirit; but saying someone has a religious spirit is a means of keeping them in line. A human being is telling someone when they're quenching the Spirit, not the Spirit Himself.

It can be applied to almost anything or anyone, especially if you're someone who believes there's a correct and incorrect interpretation of scripture.

By contrast, a "non-religious spirit" allows for virtually anything if it's done in the name of a "move of the Spirit." You can't really argue with them or point out their error because the "Spirit" gave them a "word" and told them to do it. And the "Spirit" trumps everything, even common sense.

As long as one continues to lean on their own understanding they will not receive His truth.

I do not deny this facts!I only cant find your way of interpreting this verses.
Also it seems that you dont read my post.
I said that 1.cor.12,30 says clear that not all Christians will receive the gift of speaking in tongues.

respect? I do not respect false doctrine

don't take it personally and try to make it seem I have it in for you

it's the false doctrine you are spouting that make people like Aidan question everything about tongues

I will speak to anyone I want any time I want. this is a public forum and not your personal soapbox for telling people unless they speak in tongues they are not saved. and other false interpretations such as if you are baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit you must be re-baptized in the name of Jesus only or your baptism is false

Oneness Pentecostal is false in its persuasions

Wansvic is Oneness Pentecostal. most do not share those views

he/she goes way beyond what we were originally discussing here

they believe if you do not speak in tongues you are not saved. that, is baloney but they are serious about it and will keep pounding away at that because that is what they are taught to do

Are you able to stand next to a complete stranger and Discern if they follow God or Not?

It's that easy!
