New to christianity !

My name's Liam I come from a non religous family, I am not christian (yet) but it is in my consideration to accept the religion of christianity as my belief. My knowledge on christianity is limited and I would like to learn more. God bless !

My name is Makayla. I also came from a non-religious family. I’ve always believed in God but I have never had the support of it. I was never able to ask questions and the only time I went to church was when my friends went and I asked if I could come with. I moved to a new town when I started High School and I met my boyfriend of 4 years now there. He came from a very religious family and they loved and accepted me and answered all of my questions and at the beginning of this year I really started becoming active in my church and I’ve loved every minute of it. I’ve seen big changes in my life that I’ve been working to change for years and it’s all changed in a matter of months now. I’m truly happy and I have peace at mind knowing I have God right there taking all my troubles and worry away. I’m still learning more and more things each day. I have my Bible that I read every night (or try to😂) I have devotion books (Jesus is calling and Jesus Listens which are amazing😍, a couples devotion book, and a devotion book for women) I’ve joined a group called Celebrate Recovery which brings me closer to Him in ways I never imagined and giving myself to him more than I could’ve ever thought. If you ever have any questions at all feel free to ask. I may be able to answer them or my boyfriends mom is really good at explaining things and teaches me new things every day. God Bless❤️

First thing to know is that Jesus loves you. It is completely safe to surrender to Him right now. He holds the whole world in the palm of His hand. He has a wonderful purpose and plan for everything He has created (that includes you and I).

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

He died on a cross to pay for our sins. That is why His salvation is freely offered to you and me this very day and hour.

Liam, seeking a religion for religiousity's sake is a dead end. Seek TRUTH.

Jesus Christ said, "I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Life; NO MAN comes to the Father (God) except through ME."

(By the way, CHRIST is not a name, but a title. Jesus THE Christ, "Christ" being the Promised One of God who takes away the sins of the world.)

I pray God will show you what you are seeking, brother! I would encourage you to read through the Gospel of John in the New Testament of the Bible, and if you have questions, seek answers!
