You a big fan of Ninja Scroll (1993), Ghost In The Shell (1995), Akira (1988), Spirited Away (2001), The Incredibles?

I vaguely remember Ninja Scrolls tbh. Akira is amazing and so is Ghost in. Shell. The Incredibles was good (I don't normally watch to much cgi but I did see at as I was commissioned to draw a Incredibles fan art) Spirited Away was also very good. I think in terms of plot I think Akira wins out of the ones you mentioned (but like I said Ninja Scrolls I have almost no memory of)

I saw each of those only once, and many of them a long time ago. Might have to revist them. But I'd love to see some newer ones.

What animated films or series do you recommend?

My Hero Academia I highly recommend if you like superheroes. It's a great series and still going. One Punch Man is also good. As for recent movies other than the two My Hero Academia movies I haven't seen many recent movies. I have been meaning to watch Demon Slayer as I hear good things about it. If you like romantic comedy anime "The Quintinsentual Quintuplets" is really good. I just recently met one of the voice actors from the show. I'd like to watch Akira again, maybe even look for the manga. Usually when I sit down to watch a movie it's an older one or cult classic. "Jujitsu Kaisen" is another one to watch. If you have Netflix I believe "Parasyte The Maxim" I think is still on. Although the anime came out in 2014 it's still fairly new. The manga actually came out in the 80s and anime is one of my favorites. I believe it inspired alot of modern series like Tokyo Ghoul. It's got an MA rating so there is some Blood gore and swearing but nothing to terrible.
