Seen through the moral law, Adam and Eve were also born dead in trespass & sin as they were unclothed in God's most holy presence.

The way to the tree of life was not blocked because of your acts but because the knowledge of good and evil which you chose, accuses your acts as sinful.

You were born without the knowledge of good and evil. You chose it as you grew. No excuse.

You are just determined to argue. God made everything good. Adam and Eve only knew good and evil after they ate the forbidden fruit. It's in the Bible. You should read it sometime. I'll not respond to any more of your posts. Enough is enough.

"God made everything good". Question: Where did I say God made everything evil?

"Adam and Eve only knew good and evil after they ate the forbidden fruit".
Question: Whrre did I say Adam and Eve knew good and evil before they ate the forbidden fruit?

You have not understood my post nor have you responded to my post. You have evaded truth.

Post and rubber band. Put a rubber band over a post, pull it 1 million times, and all that is achieved is a waste of time.
Like trying to talk to you. I'm done with you. You've wasted enough of my time. Servant of the antichrist.
Just before reading your above post I was wondering why I was wasting so much time reading this thread. I give you folks credit for trying to teach the OP, but I’m outta here before even trying.

why does God wear clothes?

Who is this who comes from Edom,
with dyed garments from Bozrah,
this One who is glorious in His apparel,
traveling in the greatness of His strength? —
I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.
(Isaiah 63:1)

I cannot be antichrist because I preach the gospel of repenting from the forbidden knowledge of good and evil & turn to trust in Christ's perfect merits.
We repent of sin, not the forbidden knowledge of good and evil. You are preaching a false gospel. Repent!
We are to trust in Christ's atonement for our sins. As He is perfect, He was qualified to atone for our sins.
But it is faith and trust in His death and resurrection, His payment for our sin debt, that gives us life, and, not in itself, His holiness. Once again you are preaching a false gospel. Repent!

The sad part is, visiting a church, I heard this message preached from the pulpit before. I just remember cringing inside.

And I think it even goes back to a non-literal interpretation of Genesis. If you assume Adam isn't literal, and didn't literally make the choice of Knowledge of Good and evil, bringing sin into the world; then logically, this is what you come up with... that we ALL choose the knowledge of good and evil and we ALL fall like Adam did in the "poem". But we know that's not true because....

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 14Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

That's the proof; sin IS the problem, and NOT the knowledge of good and evil. Since man has acquired the knowledge of good and evil, we NEED IT as the schoolmaster to convict us and bring us to Christ, and without it we will die in our sins.

When I was a child, I don't remember craving moral knowledge... or even fruit for that matter. And watching cartoons, I intuitively knew who the "good guys" were and never had to ask anyone who the villain was. The first time someone takes your crayons or something, you immediately get how disruptive stealing is, and why it is bad- you don't need to openly reject God in order to gain that understanding.

Choosing the knowledge of good and evil led to death (eternal separation from God).

Irrelevant because God didn't create humans to be clothed.

"We repent of sin, not the forbidden knowledge of good and evil". Reply: Choosing the forbidden knowledge of good and evil is the sin!

Deuteronomy 1:39 says babies are born without the knowledge of good and evil (kge). So humans don't acquire kge. They choose it & are therefore responsible!

Galatians3:25: "But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster". But you insist on being under the schoolmaster!

Irrelevant because God
disagree strongly.
in point of fact, it's possibly the only relevant thing in the entire thread, m8.

why does God wear clothes?

this shall be a sign unto you:
ye shall find The Babe wrapped in swaddling clothes
(Luke 2:12)

They do acquire it. I didn't say they were born with it- they acquire it after they are born- but they don't choose to acquire it, they just do.

Galatians3:25: "But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster". But you insist on being under the schoolmaster!
Wrong again. Just because you aren't under the schoolmaster, that doesn't mean you forget the schoolmaster... any more than you forget your parents after you aren't under their power... or your old bosses when they retire (if you liked them anyway).

You can't just forget moral knowledge, that's dumb- and if you have faith, your moral knowledge is going to increase with your faith; not the other way around. Nobody comes to God and whips their clothes off because of their newfound liberty in Christ. That's not how it works.

How do they choose it and then die because of it if they do not acquire it?

Babies are born evil only wrt to the knowledge of good and evil. As they don't have the forbidden knowledge of good and evil, their heart doesn't accuse them as evil.

Later on, those born would be reckoned to have committed sins only because they have chosen the forbidden knowledge of good and evil.
I still don't see in the bible that the knowledge of good and evil was forbidden but rather eating of the fruit was forbidden.
