What a wonderful day. Well done.
I couldn't see any pics of chainsaws or axes in your avatar, maybe you leave all those at work 🙂
But I did notice what looks like an awfully big V10 that would probably use pylon drivers as pistons 😏
Good day Tony, thank you for the kind reply. Haha my axes are in a shed on my backyard. And it is not a V10 ;), but a LA mopar 318 V8 engine ;) thats gonna be put into my Plymouth Valiant from 1966 that I am currently restoring.
I really thank God for the love you share and your open ear. Have a blessed day brother.

Another nice day in Ohio. Enjoyed a church service online. Made a turkey breast, stuffing and brussel sprouts. Have to say never buy a pre-seasoned turkey. It was bitter too much thyme. Can't even turn into turkey salad with pickles and mayo. Any hoo had to mow the lawn in back again. Twice a week because of all the rain. Thinking about buying a rider , it is a bit much for my push mower to handle.Made some garlic water to get rid of slugs and set out my wasp trap. I just add my homemade attracter sugar melted in water with red food coloring and some dish soap. I have my trap from last year, but you can make your own with 2 liter soda or pop jugs.

huh
am just trying to explain why old men like young women and vice versa

:sneaky: did I say life was fair

God could have made adam and eve as twins ya know
Just joking 😊

I remember many years ago when I was doing a lot of research on gender differences in maturity, if memory serves me right the suggestion then was there was about a four year gap. age 28 for F, 32 for M. I think I read recently the baseline has gone up 2 years, but the gap in years between the two has remained. Personally, I generally can't argue with those findings, they seem about right. A lot depends on upbringing and learning from experiences of course.

When I woke up this morning, I thought that I would get things done pretty quickly but as it turns out, it looks like the day is going down already.
I getcha. I'm going to rope my motivation to me as soon as I can find it. I've got another theory, it's not that I'm too slow, it's more true that time is going too fast, ergo I'm not the problem.

Have a great day and evening!

Likewise bro, likewise.

That should move the '66 along nicely.

My mistake. I thought I counted 10 exhaust ports. No wonder it's taken me over a year to put my Honda VFR back together, I've been looking for an extra pair of pistons that don't exist 🙄

Have a great day, LJ.

That's a busy day for you Willow, I wish I had your energy.

Thanks for the tips on pest deterents and traps. The biggest problem I have here at the mo is with citrus leaf miners, and grasshoppers. I've found that the grasshoppers don't like being up close and personal with a flip flop, but the leaf miners are another matter!

I have a Honda Self Propelled lawn mower that helps me out, the size of my yard doesn't warrant a ride on. But I have had a ride on in the past for a different property, I've found them very therapeutic. You could get a goat...that would fix the grass, and the pest problems...nothing left for them to eat! 😏

May you and your son have a great day.

I goofed and put this in the wrong forum. My sincere thanks to Magenta for pointing that out. 😳

Take two 😬.....

Rainy, hazy day of Autumn here today. It's Monday, and a special day for Veterans and Service members and their families, and New Zealanders, Australians and some Pacific Islanders as a whole.

I'm really appreciative of people sharing their interests and insights on this thread, and throughout CC. It is sooo educational, I've learnt heaps. Thank you fellow members and staff 👍👏

The cat's been quite sookie today, demanding to be stroked. One must obey, sorta... I give her a pat every now and again, and she seems happy enough with that. 🙂 Must be the rainy weather 🤔

Speaking of things cat, my cat minder has decided to do a runner...can't blame her really, I've thought of doing the same. 🙄 She and her husband have put their house up for sale to move closer to their grand kids down on the Gold Coast. I'm running an ad on the Christian House Share website in Oz, to see if I can get a house and Cat minder to cover me for a fortnight from the 21st May. I'm visiting my natural born family down south then, and have to meet a dermatology appointment in Brisbane after that. If you know of anyone that's available and would be interested in doing that, could you give them a shout please. I'll furnish them with a copy of my Police Check/Clearance report to prove they won't be getting a knock on the door in the wee hours of the morning from the local Mafia, looking for sugar for their tea. If they need more than 2 weeks here to make it worth their while, that can be arranged.

Off to do some work in the kitchen now, then a bit of filing, a workout on the exercise bike, then easing down for the day and night.

May everyone have a fantastic day and week ahead, enveloped by and with the grace of the one and only true God, the great I AM. Shalom 😊

Too bad you live in another state otherwise I would have cat sat for you. I like cats, I find them amusing. Mine was a real diva. She would obey nobody but me. She was a stray that decided to live with me one day lol. She went from homeless to Rose Porteous (Hancock). I think she had something like seventy collars. Yes seventy!! Everytime I saw one that I thought would suit her I would buy it. The funny thing is she seemed to be the only cat (that I know) who loved wearing collars. She wore them with pride and the more blingy they were the more she liked them lol.

You'd have the job👍

I think your cat and mine must be sisters, the prissy little thing she is. I'm sure she eats with her pinky out. I guess you're grateful yours didn't have a liking for shoes!

How's the packing going?

The early cat gets the early bird. (And a little known fact is that early birds are delicious!)

They could be sisters. Maybe mine hitch hiked across the border to try out the west. There is more fish here lol. Funny thing is she hated fish esp freshly caught but loved roo meat.

Packing is getting there. Actually atm I am greatly lacking motivation and energy.

I understand, and feel sorry for you. I hope it does go smoothly at least.

I remember fishing near Albany, you just about had to beat the Herrings off the line and back into the water, otherwise you'd get swamped by them.

Mine is not allowed to eat birds, geckos or lizards. She prefers fine dining anyway!

I lived in Albany for awhile. Beautiful scenery but terrible weather. Always grey, cold, windy and wet. What is the use of all the beautiful beaches and scenery if you can rarely go out and enjoy it? Weather there is improving though. My sister lives there and when I visited I saw the sun a few times lol.

But... But.. Eating lizards keeps a cat thin and sleek.
Ruby (my cat, not me) loved stalking birds, beheading them and leaving their bodies on the back door mat. She would yell and scream till I came out to see a headless bird. I think she thought she was feeding me, maybe paying her board?

Well went back to work today . Today was a tad physical, but easy enough work I didn't mind. My place of work is repackaging type plant. It was a little tedious after my 8th hr. there. But not complaining I work 4 days a week 10 hr. shifts.
I was surprised to see 2 people I recognized they had hired. My youngest son's father-in-law and his brother. I really didn't say anything to either one. My youngest son and his wife don't really talk to me , because they only want to argue. They are atheist and very argumentative and rude. My son was not like this until he had spent alot of time with his wive's family. So I try to keep the peace and give them all space . Arguments really never solve anything, I will not argue especially about God and the word .
I was happy though to work with a young woman who is a Christian today. It was wonderful fellowship, amen.
