Amos 3:3 can two walk together unless they agree?

In so much that God can reveal about your potential spouse the other party has freewill to choose.

Then because of High calling purposes. Eg Samson there was a reason his parents didn't want him to marry "Delilah clan." Samson exercised his freewill and then the consequences.
How many weddings in scripture were said to be 'of the Lord'?

Judges 14

3 Then his father and mother said to him, “Is there no woman among the daughters of your brethren, or among all my people, that you must go and get a wife from the uncircumcised Philistines?”

And Samson said to his father, “Get her for me, for she pleases me well.”

4 But his father and mother did not know that it was of the Lord—that He was seeking an occasion to move against the Philistines. For at that time the Philistines had dominion over Israel.

President your quote is very true, I have always been intrigued by Acts 4:28. God cannot be limited. His ways are beyond our thinking..

to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose determined before to be done. (Ac.4:28 | NKJV)

We often hear single Christians say I'm waiting on the spouse God is preparing for me. What does this imply? A prearranged marriage by Christian elders? A spouse that seems to supernaturally fall into your life? Does this eliminate dating as in God will send that individual within His timing?

I personally believe it is a mix of God's sovereignty, free will of the human, and relationship between God and human.

Basically, date with God's guidance.
My opinion would be that we have to make an effort to date though this is by our free will, making decisions that we need to ask for God's wisdom and guidance on.

God can certainly choose your spouse, but that depends if it is a priority for Him I believe. God has plans and ultimately expects us to be servants who honor His will rather than who our preferred spouse may be. Literally purchased by the blood of Christ and owned by God, our preferences are expected to take a lower priority than what God wants.

You need God's leading to get a spouse. God who knows you best, knows who would be the best for you, and because Christians do not date, you have to seek God's face earnestly and be sure that He is in complete approval of whoever wants to court you or who you would like to court. The more reason every individual is supposed to know how God speaks to him or her. Let God lead you. Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Agree, dating should always be in line with God's guidance for our lives. The Bible has a lot to say in what to look for in a spouse.

I believe God knows who your spouse is from the beginning, but you also need to make efforts to find him or her.
If you do not act, it is unlikely that you will get married.

Yes God can and does. When I prayed and asked I got "what do you want". Since hind sight is 20/20 at that moment I asked I believed I really wanted to know what He wanted. Yet looking back I know I had already made up my mind. I know preachers that praying with the person they were praying with. She leaves and God told him "she will be your wife". He was shocked at that thinking.. a she does not even know I exist lol.. in that way. Yet her heart was already for him. They got married.

Oh I remember I had this friend.. oh best friend. She would always tell me AFTER they were married God told her they would get married. I said anyone can do that. So one day this guy comes to our Church ..new. She said to me see him? Him and this other girl say Shelly we knew she said they will both get married. Man they didn't even know each other. She was always right.. that was something else praise GOD. It was from the ones she told me always believers.

God choose me to be single. I really feel like Jeremiah, we are already in the birth pangs of the end times.

I have no idea. It's a difficult question. God might work a little differently in each of our lives.

The Bible says this is not for everyone and also it says that people were marrying and giving in marriage right up until the end like in the days of Noach. 👍

I had to look up Hoach. Why did you choose to use Noach instead of Noah?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noach_(parashah)
Noach, Noiach, Nauach, Nauah, or Noah (נֹחַ‎, Hebrew for the name "Noah", the third word, and first distinctive word, of the parashah) is the second weekly Torah portion (פָּרָשָׁה‎, parashah) in the annual Jewish cycle of Torah reading. It constitutes Genesis 6:9–11:32. The parashah tells the stories of the Flood and Noah's Ark, of Noah's subsequent drunkenness and cursing of Canaan, and of the Tower of Babel.

Hi SC

I used this spelling because as far as I understand, this is the original spelling of the Hebrew name, with a gutteral ‘ch’ sound at the end.
I personally do not like to depend on what Wikipedia has to say because as far as I’m aware, just about anyone can contribute to it and change it. I like to search further for truth. 🙂
