I have been in canada years back, Moosejaw. But went d

Apparently, eggs will not really cook on a sidewalk LOL.

It's never been hot enough. Anywhere. I looked it up ;):geek::giggle::D
I know of two boys in Arizona who cooked an egg on a flat rock. They said it took about 15 minutes and they did not eat it.

we are in a stage 1 drought in north georgia ( u s).

this afternoon, i was doing some cleaning outside, tossing damp paper towels on the ground, to gather up and throw away when i finished what i was doing.
when i got done and went to pick them up, they had ants on them.

the ants smelled the water and came to the damp towels.

first time i have ever seen this , ever.

hot and dry for us.
Right. I am definitely staying here in tennessee.

The rock probably had a much higher iron content than most sidewalks do... :geek:

Water makes up 60-75% of human body weight. A 4% loss of total body water leads to dehydration,
and a 15% loss can be fatal. Animals and all fruit and vegetables have a high water content also.

Oh it's hot in TN west of where you are at....

I got the jack and stands and changed one set of brake pads and had to stop and go inside to cool down.

I'm heading out again as soon as the shakes stop.

How to Bake Cookies on Your Car Dashboard

You may be craving some homemade cookies on a hot day, but the last thing you want to do is fire up your oven. Take advantage of the heat and bake cookies on your car dashboard. This article will teach you how to bake cookies on the dashboard of your car or truck.

Make sure the outdoor temperature is at least 95 °F (40 °C) before you try this project. Remove any items that you may need from your car. You will have to keep your car doors and windows closed throughout the baking process.

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper

Place the pieces of unbaked cookie dough on the cookie sheet about 1 1/2 inches / 38mm apart.

Place the cookies on the baking sheet into the car.

Shut the doors and let the sun begin the baking

Keep an eye on the baking process by looking through the windshield regularly.
Continue to check on the cookies every 15 to 30 minutes until they are done.
  • Try to slide a cookie from the parchment paper. If the cookie is done, it will come off of the paper easily. If the cookie is not done, it will stick to the paper.
  • Close the car door if not done yet. Continue to check on the cookies every 15 to 30 minutes until they are done.

The amount of water consumption I once heard recommended was half your body weight (pounds) in ounces.

So if you weight 180 pounds, 90 ounces is recommended. That's about 2.5-3 liters.

That would be better than a new car smell!

I usually drink 10-12 glasses of water everyday either way. But now adding more gatorade.
