You can simply highlight and delete using backspace or control x while in the composing stage, or, if you see
something that needs correcting after you have posted, you have a five minute window within which to edit.

If you have any questions about formatting or how the site works, feel free to ask! :)
Thank you very much!
I don't know how much time I wasted trying to reformat the auto numbering feature that messed up my posts.
I'll give that a try.🙂👍

Actually, I have done that and it keeps reverting back to the unwanted format when starting new paragraphs by Return/New Line. I will try another Bible site and give it another try. It will take a little while to get used to the software, but I'll ask you when I get stuck. Thanks!

Hey Everybody!

Here's a short sample of what the Lord made for us in West Virginia.

I've seen nesting Falcons, Bald Eagles, charged by a bear and miraculous answers to prayer here. This is considered one mountain. It's only 4,000 feet in elevation +/-. Some consider that small until they hike/ climb it.
Then you have to consider that this formation is 26 MILES long at it peak which is a ridge extending north to south!
People travel from all over the east to site see, camp, fish and rock climb.
God is good!

I am not sure why it is doing that for you, but another thing you can do (which I did not mention the first time because it is a little more advanced) is use the Toggle BB code function, which is the last icon on the right hand side above the message box (it looks like a gear). This displays your message with all the HTML coding visible. All those numbers you want to delete? I assume they are the links (in blue). You would need to delete all the url code that precedes each number and also the [/ url] after each number (I included a space so you can see it). That may be somewhat labor intensive, which could certainly be alleviated if done in a document program (such as Notepad) off-site, where you can select something like [/ url] and delete all at once :) Ctrl F is the search function if you want to do them one by one, whereas Ctrl H allows you to replace unwanted text, in which case you would leave that field ("replace with") blank.

when starting new paragraphs by Return/New Line.
I am not sure what you mean by this. A simple line break can be achieved
by hitting enter once. To create a paragraph break, hit enter twice :D

oh yeah i forgot the bible is just a guide not a rule book..

All good...

One MIND one SPIRIT will never exist. we are all individuals who interpret the bible as they choose when they choose. using strawman arguments to justify there standards..

I will go and not return as seems this place is only built for arguments and no Spirit
You're the one ignoring Scripture. Explain the swords. Explain Esther.

Yes, I know. We are on the same page.
It doesn't allow that when posting from my E- Bible. It's like a word correct that keeps changing to a different word and won't take "No" for an answer.
It seems to have an incompatible format. I'll just try another Bible source until it stops the auto number. I think that would be easiest.

I decided to feature some samples from my home state as long as this thread lasts. Hope it doesn't get boring.
This goes out to you Magenta from West Virginia.

OOPPS, That last one started well and ended up boring. This one's better.

Hi @HealthAndHappiness, glad you are here and may God bless you and your time here!
Thanks TabinRivCa!
You have an interesting name. Are you from California?

Here's a popular wilderness area for hikers.
It's a very wet cool area only a stones through from the dryest in the state. The topography is like night and day too.

This guy's relatively new, and he's already put two people on ignore. He's easily triggered. At this pace, he's going to have about 3 people to chat with on here in a year :D And the best part? He won't see himself as the problem.

It's a simple copy & paste. It's just been problematic on this particular forum software. No worries. I'm just glad that there's others like you who are interested in the Word.

I said that I would post a scenic West Virginia video with each response as long as this thread is active.
Here's a sample of some of the falls near parks that are easy access. For those hiking, there are scores of falls.

I had the privilege of Baptizing some, who . made a profession of faith, in a pool at the top of a large waterfall deep in the forest near home. It's one of the prettiest places in my part of WV. It's a big one that's maybe 40 yards wide and around 30 feet high with rapids along the stretch except for a calm pool above and below them.

I've passed through West Virgina several times and there are parts that are quite scenic. You wrote quite the introductory post. Glad to have you onboard with us. Welcome to CC.

'Country Roads'
- John Denver
One of my favorite songs.

Almost Heaven, West Virginia.
Blue Ridge Mountains, Shenandoah River...
One of my favorite songs too. I was at a John Denver concert in 1980 in Nashville. He sang all of his songs including this one. Good seats too. I was about 50 feet away from him at the Ryman Auditorium. The place was rocking.

Yes I am a Cali girl brought up in LA Co and now in 'Riv'erside, 5 minutes from Greg Laurie & Harvest Church. Who would guess that vid is in Ca lol but Big Bear Lake about 45 minutes offers lush forests and snow. The other direction are the beaches, and then east is desert Palm Springs😎 and BTW I'm another fan of JD and loved him in the movie 'Oh, God!'
