I'm new here too, don't be put off by me. I'm old enough to be your father and I tend to be rather dry wit. I think it's good of you to seek Christians. One thing, it's just turned 10:30pm here!

Hey, Helen.

Well, I see that you're from Greece, and that's the one place I've always wanted to visit because of how much in the Bible transpired there. My oldest sister's first husband was Greek, and, subsequently, one of my nephews and one of my nieces are Greek, too.

Hook me up with some "kourabiedes", and you and I will be friends for life.

wow that's nice!!! yes kourabiedes(κουραμπιέδες) is a nice treat for all ages :) how come you didn't visit Greece so far? if you have relatives there i think it's a must :)

Well, let's just say that my life got complicated, so travelling hasn't really been an option for quite some time now. I've only ever made it out of the country (USA) twice. I spent 11 days in Italy many years ago, and I spent a few days in Canada. Greece looks absolutely beautiful from the photos that I've seen.

Did you say that kourabiedes are a nice treat?

I'd eat them as a meal...lol.

They are REALLY GOOD.

You won't find too many Catholics here. The sites official stance, as well as what seems the majority of the members does not view Catholicism as part of Christianity. Orthodoxy seems more accepted, but perhaps not as well as more common Protestant denominations. So be prepared.
