Hey, kaylagrl.

It would take me some time to properly answer that question, and I simply don't have it at the moment. This is a crazy week for me, but I will try to give you a proper answer when I have more time to do so.
Yeah, I understand. Hubby works for a propane company and he says it's like winter hours. People want to get the gas while it's cheap. Usually he does pools and businesses in summer and homes in the winter. Good money though, need it with these prices going up and up. Take your time, I'll enjoy the discussion.

I think this his is on topic.
What is replacement theology?
I listened and thought it was food for thought. 15 Minutes in the chapter from Galatians is read, followed by the sermon. Quite interesting.

i watched the video. the way it is presented it is very compelling. but what was (NEVER) mentioned was what Paul said:

Romans 11:
1 I say then, God has not rejected His people, has He? May it never be! For I too am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
2 God has not rejected His people whom He knew beforehand.

Romans 11:
25 For I do not want you, brothers and sisters, to be ignorant of this mystery—lest you be wise in your own eyes—that a partial hardening has come upon Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in;
26 and in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written, “The Deliverer shall come out of Zion. He shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob.
27 And this is My covenant with them, when I take away their sins.”

^
why did Anderson ""purposefully"" not mention this in that video?

almost seems like he is misleading people from the TRUTH!

I didn't watch it, but this man is known for inflammatory videos that he puts out. Sometimes I don't believe what comes out of his mouth. Facebook friends were sharing his videos and I kinda agreed with one. And then I heard another, wow! Like I said, way out in left field.

i don't know much about him but i tend watch videos if someone posts them. he did have many bases covered but i kept waiting for him to mention Romans 11. when the video ended and no mention of Romans 11 i knew this was a scam. this video is for people who only read what someone tells them to read, not for those who read daily and are educated in God.

I heard him answer that, but there's only so much possible to cover in an hour. If I come across the verses he taught on, I'll let him speak for himself as I'm not defending him.

That chapter of Romans 11 is a powerful chapter. Here's some more to get context.
To distinguish the Word from my comments, I'll use bold type.

Romans 11
  1. 1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.,(Who were true Israel, natural progeny or those who did what made Abraham and the other gentiles who did what Abraham did; which was to believe on the LORD?)
  2. 2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying (Note the prophet's prayer for the judgement of national Israel. Why? Answer:)
  3. 3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
  4. 4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.
  5. 5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. (Grace as OPPOSED TO WORKS like national heritage that many were trusting in for eternal salvation. The same was the works lie in Christ's time on earth as today. He constantly said salvation was through faith in Him and Not by that which national Israel was trusting. They hated the message of grace sooo much that they murdered the prophets God sent as well as His own son.)
  6. 6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. ( Is that clear Romans? You can not add works to salvation like the Jews. Let's repeat that for emphasis Paul in case the Roman church is already brainwashed by the Judaizers.)
  7. 7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded.
  8. 8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.
  9. 9 And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them:
  10. 10 Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway.
  11. 11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. (National Israel as religious Jews in most part rejected the preaching and their Messiah. Jesus commanded the disciples to start in Judea and then to go into all the rest of the world. Great commission.)
  12. 12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?
  13. 13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:
  14. 14 If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them. ( Paul distinguished between his flesh and blood and those who did what Abraham did....believe the LORD.) This was a church in Rome made up primarily of non Jewish believers in Christ. How did Paul answer the question of True Israel? Let's look at the same book for context. Please read carefully with me.... Romans 9:2... "
    • That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart.
    • 3 For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh: (Not of faith, but of the flesh.)
    • 4 Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises; (All of this was offered to them!)
    • 5 Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.
    • 6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:. (Because why???) (Aren't national Israel really ALL going to be saved in that great revival? Isn't Israel real Israel now? Isn't being born to Abraham what it takes to inherit all the promises?)
    • 7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
    • 8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed. (He explained one more time ...these blood born Israeliis are NOT the children of God. They are not the children of the promise either. You mean that the Israeli government has no inheritance from the Lord? All those USA tax $ won't bring God's blessings upon us? What about those who can say that they can trace their lineage as a pure blooded tribal descendent of Benjamin? It doesn't matter. There's at least four books that answer that challenge thoroughly. The true seed of Abraham as the true children of God are those who put their total faith in the Only One that blessed ALL nations. JESUS.

Tonight's study is over.
I have to get a good night sleep and up at first light.
Good night everyone.

i see you acquire to the textus receptus Version of the Bible that has an added 1k+ words and omitted over 250 Verses. it's why i use the Greek Bibles from the 350 AD era because they are more genuine and we get more truth from them. and besides, the Papyrus add up to them better than newer texts.

Thank you for the link. I love how he provides scripture to back his claim. He sure incites the demons in people.
Well, I had some death threats (not on this forum yet), and know that he reported the same and more. He and other preachers played recorded threats left on their answering machines. Another church was evicted by a fake christian minister who celebrated on their church premises with Satanists and sodomites. Another church was bommmbd. But I digress....
  • 2 Timothy 3:12. "Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution."
  • John 15:18. "If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
God is Good and His Word trustworthy.
I'm glad that I have a trustworthy Bible and don't have to pretend that I have to find scraps of "the original autographs", learn fluent Hebrew, Chaldean and Common Greek from the time Christ's disciples autographed them!

That was just the trailer.
Here's the full movie/ documentary on this new subject. I answered just about everyone's questions above ( not yours), and they keep moving the goal post all over the field...?!? Is that pretty typical here?
Anyhow, here's something that should build your faith, not undermine it.

Don't think we discussed this, what's your take on "blinded for a time"? Or Romans 11 altogether?
Hey, kaylagrl.

It would take me some time to properly answer that question, and I simply don't have it at the moment. This is a crazy week for me, but I will try to give you a proper answer when I have more time to do so.
This is what its all about sharing thoughts and ideas. I love this thread. Trying to come in one accord instead of ringing that dreaded your wrong buzzer.

If anyone thinks this is appropriate way for a pastor to act, please let me know. Mocking Jesus name, not even understanding what he's talking about.

He does another rousing video on why church nurseries are "unbiblical".

look at healthandhappiness Verse 6
6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

this is from the 350 AD Version, which is almost 1,200 years OLDER or BEFORE.
6 now if by grace, no longer of works, since grace no longer becomes grace.

this portion of his Bible has ADDED this to that Verse (But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.).

there was never ever literally at any time Paul wrote this portion (But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.). that is a complete add on.
