(sigh)

Tuscaloosa City Council today approved a License for beer and wine to be sold at Alabama home games.

DISCLAIMER: I am a die hard BAMA fan, and folks here pretty much know that.

Great! Just what we need. A bunch of drunk, rabid Bama fans......sigh..... Trust me, a lot of the fans, especially those under 30 and the students can get very loud, and very aggressive! The last thing I want to see is them being DRUNK too....goodness

Tuscaloosa City Council approves beer and wine sales in …

They tell us to not worry because they will have a "lIast call for booze" at the end of the Third Quarter. Seriously? Ibetchabygollywow that the majority of those drinking will be drunk by halftime!

I will continue to watch the games in the comfortable and sober location of my living room.

ROLL TIDE!

(I fear we will be seeing stories about young people being injured or killed by drunk drivers leaving the Bama gams. I pray not, but I fear this is coming.)

Meh, they serve alcohol at sports ball games all over the country, and there isnt much problem. Those beverages tend to be so overly priced anyway.
