Prodigal Son....
Agreed. I'm not saying that one cannot come back to the Lord, just like the prodigal son and King David. But if someone remains in their state of willful sin, he/she is lost, undone and on the road to hell.

Of course not...Daniel 4:35.
I think your understanding of God is far to small. Think about an infinite mind and what it can do alongside infinite power. We are playing checkers and God is playing infinite level chess.
If works saved, then faith would not be required, since it would no longer be faith but works. I think Paul said something along those lines.
"If works saved"

I totally agree.

But the issue seems to be that many here are accusing others of believing such things.

Then faith alone folks get accused of believing OSAS so they can sin all they want.

There seems to be no happy medium...

However if you say, you must be water baptized to obtain salvation,
that is adding the work of human hands to God's work of salvation.

No, if someone knowingly sins, the Holy Spirit departs. It's time to repent with godly sorrow.
Repentance is super but it doesn't restore relationship. Relationship cannot be lost. You cannot stop being the temple of God. Repentance restores the relationship to its proper order.

You keep saying that but then insert the word "water" when/where it is not in the text...
If you tell someone you will be taking a bath, do you insert the word "water"?

Be honest.

So when Paul was told to arise and be baptized (Acts 22:16) what are you inserting?

1 John 5:5...Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
Correct, and such a person overcomes. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. If a so-called saved person is doing any of these things, they are not overcomers and will not inherit eternal life.

Please show others doing so.
Also, the issue is whether works are necessary to salvation.

If a so-called person makes it their habit to do those things they aren't saved. The God who saves also preserves.

I did not say it Jesus did. Here is the text:

"Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. "

Adam and Eve lost relationship, and so did Satan when iniquity was found in them. Nor will God spare a sinning Christian.

Adam had a covenant of works...don't eat. He did and suffered the consequences. We have a far superior covenant in grace. BTW, it's the same covenant Adam ended up under. God exercised grace, went to where Adam was hiding, and provided the necessary blood to restore him unto Himself. All God's actions. Adam was hiding. Now that's grace. What an awesome God.

Prodigal Son....
Here's the text:
But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. 23 Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. 24 For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.

Sounds like the son was most certainly both lost and dead until he came to his senses and he returned to his father.

I am not inserting anything. I do notice however that you refuse to admit
you do the very thing you say others should not. So much for your honesty.

There you go again, adding words to the text that are simply not there.

Here, I will help you out, since you seem so blind to your own folly:

No "must" in that sentence. There was however a must in the sentence, "You must be born again."

Grace does not allow for sin, in this world nor in Heaven. Christians who knowingly sin will not inherit eternal life.

Romans 6
[1] What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
[2] God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Titus 2
[11] For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
[12] Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
