We should remember that Jesus judging the 7 churches happens before the rapture.
Are you sure of that? Revelation isn’t necessarily a chronological book what’s to say this Judgement isn’t a part of the Bema seat?

Because the Bema seat hasn't happened yet & I think all the 7 churches are already no more.

So how many of us has heard that in the last days there's going to come an end-time revival? Where then are the big meetings, the high powered evangelists, & the praise & worship ensambles?
When's it going to start?
Is it going to be world wide?
As close as we are to the coming of the Lord, you would think somebody would starting something by now.
I would like to get your thoughts about this before we look a little deeper into it. Thanks.
Hello! I would take the opposite tack, as I believe this chapter in the bible says:
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days (1 Timothy 3:1).

Instead of 'revival' in the church I think what we will see is deception and persecution of those who stand for the truth. Our task will be to remain faithful to the Lord in these 'terrible times'. God Bless You :)

Like the Charismatic outpouring (1966-1978 or so), which was world-wide, and affected al Denominational paradigms. There were no "high powered evangelists" it was a sovereign move of the Holy Spirit, and the PEOPLE involved were all nobodies.

When's it going to start?
When it's TIME.

s it going to be world wide?
Of course.

God bring restoration in 2 ways(I think): revival & judgment. This deception & persecution can result from judgment.
Remember when Israel was tormented & persecuted for 400 years in Egypt? Judgment.

Yahshua warns of chaos, Lawlessness and deception

Matthew 24:4-12, 4 And יהושע answering, said to them, “Take heed that no one leads you astray. 5 “For many shall come in My Name, saying, ‘I am (G5547 Χριστός Christos (chriy-stos') n/p. 1. (literally) Anointed) and they shall lead many astray. 6 “And you shall begin to hear of fightings and reports of fightings. See that you are not troubled, for these have to take place, but the end is not yet. 7 “For nation shall rise against nation, and reign against reign. And there shall be scarcities of food, and deadly diseases, and earthquakes in places. 8 “And all these are the beginning of birth pains. 9 “Then they shall deliver you up to affliction and kill you, and you shall be hated by all nations for My Name’s sake. 10 “And then many shall stumble, and they shall deliver up one another, and shall hate one another. 11 “And many false prophets shall rise up and lead many astray. 12 “And because of the increase in lawlessness, the love of many shall become cold."

Amen, that's what God's word indicates. Everything else is smoke and mirrors.

What if that is a dual fulfillment.

it’s interesting you mention that. I was watching a talk from an individual Church leader and he mentioned that there was an observation made that Churches that remained open despite the Covid lockdowns are generally flourishing and steadily growing while the ones that shutdown and caved to the fear narrative have stagnanted, shrunk or closed entirely. Just an interesting observation

1 Peter 4:17
Cambridge Bible for Schools and Colleges
17. For the time is come that judgment must begin] Literally, It is the season of the beginning of the judgment. The words of the Apostle stand in close connexion with his belief that he was living in the last age of the world, that “the end of all things was at hand.” (See note on 1 Peter 4:7.) He saw in the persecutions and sufferings that fell on the Church, beginning “from the house of God,” the opening of that judgment. It was not necessarily a work of condemnation. Those on whom it fell might be judged in order that they might not be condemned (comp. 1 Corinthians 11:32). But it was a time which, like the final judgment, was one of separation. It was trying the reality of the faith of those who professed to believe in Christ, and dividing the true disciples from the hypocrites and half-hearted. The “house of God” is His family, His Ecclesia, as in 1 Timothy 3:15, and the “spiritual house” of chap. 1 Peter 2:5.

There are some churches flourishing, but what we don't know is what side they are on.
Some flourish because their judgment comes later.

John/Yahanan 15:5-16, "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, produces much fruit; but without Me, you can do nothing...."

He say to endure

Matthew 10:21-28, “And brother shall deliver up brother to death, and a father his child. And children shall rise up against parents (Mic 7:6) and shall put them to death. “And you shall be hated by all for My Name’s sake. But he who shall have endured to the end shall be saved. And when they persecute you in this city, flee to another. For truly, I say to you, you shall by no means have gone through the cities of Yisra’ĕl before the Son of Aḏam comes. “A taught one is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. “It is enough for the taught one to become like his teacher, and a servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house Be‛elzebul, how much more those of his household! “Therefore do not fear them. For whatever is covered shall be revealed, and whatever is hidden shall be made known. “What I say to you in the dark, speak in the light. And what you hear in the ear, proclaim on the house-tops. “And do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the being. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both being and body in GĕHinnom.”

Matthew 7:24-28, 24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine, and does them, shall be like a wise man who built his house on the rock, 25 and the rain came down, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. 26 “And everyone who hears these words of Mine, and does not do them,d shall be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand, and the rain came down, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and they beat on that house, and it fell, and great was its fall.” 28 And it came to be, when יהושע had ended these words, that the people were astonished at His teaching,

Maybe, however if they are Bible teaching and Jesus preaching, shouldn’t we take the stance of Gameliel?

“Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail. But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.””
‭‭Acts‬ ‭5‬:‭38‬-‭39‬ ‭NIV‬‬

I would think since both revival & judgment have both happened throughout the church's history, the only conclusion I can come up with in these last hours is judgment, because there's currently no revival going on anywhere in this nation, or the world.
There was a small one recently at Asbury college in Ky, but it has since ceased because the board decided the students needed to go back to class, which is a shame.

Many "revivals" that have happened in the past, perhaps 20-30 years or more, have been mostly meetings where some well- intentioned folks have been busy trying to "make it happen" when it wasn't supposed to happen. Some of you know exactly what I'm talking about.
Honestly, I couldn't tell you the last time I went to a Spirit-filled revival, & I've been saved for 43 years.
Don't worry, though... As a Pentecostal, I still believe God is still working thru believers who will submit to Him instead of their denomination or movement.:)
God hasn't changed.... the church has.

However, that doesn't mean the Holy Spirit didn't move in some of those meetings. God did some wonderful things sometimes in spite of what the church was doing. The call of Samuel the prophet/priest was an example of that.
So don't lose hope, those of you who keep on keepin' on in spite of what's goin' on.... Your in good Hands.:)

2 Thessalonians 2 and 2 Timothy 3 states that no revival will take place, but the opposite will.
