I tried posting something in Bible Discussion forum about 11 am. My post was about correcting errors. Why is my post not showing up on the forum

If you started a new thread, it may be waiting for moderator approval. it will be along soon.

If you made a post in an existing thread, no idea why it would not show up.

I just checked the bible discussion forum. It was a new thread, and it has shown up.

There is a period for new users when new threads need to be approved by mods. This does not apply to new posts. Eventually you should stop requiring approval.
Mods work on their own time, no schedule. So how long it takes to get a new thread approved can vary.

"Eventually you should stop requiring approval."

@Oncefallen - is this the way it is supposed to work? (with specific regard to new threads)

Thanks.

Since removing the requirement for new thread screening is not automated it rarely happens. I just am not active enough anymore (beyond Admin duties) to gain the level of confidence in most users to remove that screening.

This message is to Christian Chat Staff:
Christian Chat staff correct your errors

I am contacting you to ask you to correct errors in my account. I tried contacting you by email but it did not go through. I am also going to send a note similar to this one to the section Suggestions. In the section account profile for "Seeking Wisdom" your system has 193 likes shown under my account that are errors. I did not enter those likes. Therefore the system has created a deception, because it is stating that I had approved of these posts at a time when I had not viewed the post. Whenever I wish to show my opinion on a post, I have replied with a note. I have never first responded with a like, smile, agree, dislike or frown. If it is possible, remove the errors that the computer system has in my account and when you find out the source of the problem, kindly prevent any more errors occurring in the future

I hate to tell you, but there is nothing in the programming of this site that would "create" emoticon responses from any user.

I just scrolled through your history and the vast majority of the emoticons posted from your account are the thumbs up emoticon. I highly recommend you pay a bit more attention to where you are clicking on your screen since the thumbs up is directly above the reply icon.

I am wondering too, if it is possible that someone else could have had access to your
account while you were signed in to Christiam Chat but away from your device?

I am trying to let you understand that that there are a whole lot of posts that I have never ever viewed so it cannot be simply an error from a person tapping the wrong area. After I saw that my account had so many likes and knew that I had never done any, I have started trying to enter the posts and read the words. I clicked on the section of my profile that said likes and looked to see where my name was linked. There are many posts that I am viewing now and seeing for the first time that the system is saying I had viewed at a prior date and I had not done so.
Therefore I am telling you once again your system has made errors. Do you know how to go into your system and clear out all the likes under Seeking wisdom so there can be a new start from here onwards. So once you have all those likes erased I will try regularly to check my account to see if anything is there that is an error. It is not easy for me to now go into all those posts. So if you can just erase everything it would be best.

Magenta, I appreciate your trying to help with your comment. I have experienced incidents associated with identity theft, internet crime in the past If the problem is not due to something linked to the christian chat computer system, maybe someone could have interfered with my Android phone

It will take a bit of effort and time - but - you should be able to remove them yourself. Just go to each post where one exists and click on 'Undo Reactions'.
