I think that be true. Yet in religion, I found it not to be true. Love is to all, not a few or just those in your group. It is to all.
Even as Son did from that cross it was for us all

Hebrews 10:10

Authorized (King James) Version

10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Tell me, if "I" do not truly love all, and am using anger over another person believing God or not, in condemning them, is that the Love of God on that cross once for us all?

John 13:34
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
John 15:9
As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
John 15:12
This is my commandment, That ye love one another, asI have loved you.

Therefore this Question remains?
How many sins did he, Christ take on at his death? All, A few or none?

If, it is all, Once, for everyone, (Hebrews 10:10) then, there is no more repentance to get forgiven, reconciled is there? 2 (Corinthians 5:17-20) We. all are either reconciled or not. How many sins, did Jesus willingly go to that cross for? How many have turned to belief in God over Law that is fulfilled for us each, in risen Son for them? Once, by belief in the done work of Son for any person, these, new kids, are sealed by God as born again by God are made born again as new by God, not self or anyone else? Once anyone turns to God personally in belief to God for them, Whether or not they are in afflictions, now, past or future, these will not deny God as in the book of Job reveals to me at least, Thank you Father and Son as Won (One)

Since, all at that cross are forgiven, everyone in Jesus's one time willing death alone through Father for us, what is left? Anything

Yes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Life with Father and Son everlasting between you two too.

Amazing Grace, what John Newton saw and turned to belief, a one time repentance and recieved the truth of the done work of Son for him in his resurrection

God did it, I believe it all the way
I am forgiven by God, even after I sinned again and either did not care for it or cared to quit. God knows who are who and what is what to this very present second, between God and you, includes me, thank you God for this ultimate care for us all to come to you personally above everything else first, and be new in You and Son as risen where this new life resides for us each personally.
God knows each and every persons motive, in what they ask for
That is why many of times I see why, I did not get what I asked for, having wrong motive
  1. James 1:5
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations
  2. James 1:6
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations
  3. James 4:2
Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations
  4. James 4:3
Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

Be willing to be dead to your first birth of the flesh nature in us at first birth, after the similitude of Adam the first. Be new in God in the Second Adam, (Yashua, Jesus HA' Masciach Christ receive the Rauch HA' Kodesh, the Holy Spirit of God Father of Son, that has no sin in him ever The only perfect person ever to walk earth as perfect for us to be adopted in his love mercy and truth of Father for us as new, born again
Thank you
Turn to believe the entire truth for you inn Son for us all. Ask God Father for the risen Life to do the done work of Son through you (Luke 21:14-15) Love and mercy to all in God's lead for you in you and through you
Be born again by God, in 100% dependent on God as in a new born child, is 100% dependent on mom, or whoever raises them for those first two years.
God is always dependable, we the people are not
Once any child reaches two years of age here on earth on average. Authority starts, and rebellion begins. This world of people, unfortunately begin teaching, to the children to become independent, no more, dependent
When, I now see to be inner-dependent on God only. That is a hard one to learn if got lost in this world's teachings of independence, and the temp glory fools gold out on earth.
To renew the mind set to see God's mindset for us through Son as appreciated, not taken for granted, one will learn new and all the old will get gone and be gone, as long as one does not quit belief
Col 1:21-23 tells me this truth and it has taken me years in not quitting belief to see, as have gone through troubles too.
Believe in God Father of risen Son Jesus, stand on belief, no matter what goes on, especially in any troubles. One day, you will see new, and it is not by one trying to obey Law that gets anyone in. Son did that for us on the cross once for us all to choose to believe or not
1 John 2:1-4, 12 verses 5 -11 One does in trust, belief sees, as long as one does not quit
Thank you

The theme of the Bible both Old Testament and New Testament is to love people which the 2 greatest laws is love God, and love people, and all the law and prophets hang on those 2 laws.

Creation testifies there is a higher power and of His attributes which is love for He provided food, and the means to make clothing, and shelter, which testifies of the 2 greatest laws, love God, and love people, so people are without excuse for not complying to that.

The Bible says love is the fulfilling of the law, and the 10 commandments are laws of love for God, and people.

So if the theme of the Bible is love, and love is the fulfilling of the law, then why did Jesus say He gave the disciples a new commandment to love one another if they were always to love people.

The only reason that makes sense is the level of love has been amped up.

In the Old Testament God would bless them with money and material things, and lots of cattle, and land, and it was allowed.

But in the New Testament we only go by our needs, and the early Church sold all they had that was not a necessity, and distributed the money to those that had need, and Jesus told the rich man to sell all he had, and give to the poor then he would be perfect to enter heaven.

Which the love of money is the root of all evil because it neglects the poor and needy, which some coveting after have erred from the faith.

God did tell them in the Old Testament to help the poor and needy but He blessed them with money and material things.

In the Old Testament the nation of Israel was allowed to fight physically for their land, and go against their enemies.

But in the New Testament the saints are not allowed to do that.

Which Jesus said love your enemies, and feed and clothe your enemies.

Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.

Which it was an eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth, and stoning of the rebellious, but in the New Testament it is not to be done anymore.

Turn the other cheek, and do not resist evil physically, and be harmless as doves concerning those that offend you.

And do not sue, and give more than a cloak if they asked for a cloak, and lend asking for nothing in return.

So the level of love towards people has been amped up in the New Testament so it is a new commandment.

No more was the nation of Israel to be blessed with money and material things above their needs, and could not war physically against their enemies like the Old Testament.

Jesus said that it was said give a wife a bill of divorcement if he wanted it to end.

But in the New Testament it is not permitted to divorce except for fornication because they broke the covenant, and death.

Love is the theme of the Bible for love God, and love people, are the 2 greatest laws, but in the New Testament it has been amped up in love so it is a new commandment.

But it seem like the Hebrews that go by the Old Testament and not the New Testament can fight physically for their protection.

Isa 31:4 For thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof.
Isa 31:5 As birds flying, so will the LORD of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending also he will deliver it; and passing over he will preserve it.

An example is this which it appears as if it is speaking of the 6 day war, 1967, when Israeli fighter pilots paved the way to win the war, and they took control of Jerusalem.

But New Testament Hebrews are not to fight at all.

I surely seems to be a perplexity about Old and New Testaments

The First (Old) Testament, so messed up in sin, errors. The New also

The Second, New Testament, is the straightening out the First Testament to us, the people not understanding the Love of God, the Father of the Son, Jesus

LOVE, God took all error of people upon himself in Son for us all. That is done once for all, at that cross for us to believe and cross over and be there now in God's spirit and Truth rested in his done work on day 7, and saw all as good, even though we the people don not see the same as God. I am learning new and am seeing new, daily

L ord
O ver
V iolence
E ternally

God took all the Nasty nines and dirty dozen upon himself, for us the people to ask for new life, called the Born again life, that is given in the risen Son, once anyone finalizes by God in Son that they are forgiven by God and now rest (learning to rest) in thanksgiving and praise over all sin now taken away

God will certainly reveal whatever is needed, as I agree, I do not know how to write, and it does not bode well with the flesh nature at all
However, Hoping you believe God over it all
As those then When Jesus spoke, they did not understand, those, even as today, conjecture out of what got spoken, Taking the meaning upon themselves and many times are not on target, I know that happens to me and has and probably will again.
thanks for the response in trying to help, appreciated, as Father leads, ?I do the best I can, that is dependency on the King
