Ive had lower back pain for 25 years.
Got better once I realized my mattress was too firm. I was always told that a firm mattress is good for your back but actually you need a medium firm with memory foam. After I got a super nice mattress with an adjustable frame, it got alot better.
It took me 1 year to adjust to the new mattress.. not kidding.
I had lower back pain for a few years, mostly sciatica nerve pain. Slept on a futon for 9 years and maybe the last 4 years it felt like I was sleeping on uneven springs with no cushion. I just didn’t care about my comfort at all but when I had the sciatica, I started taking naproxen for it, which is like advil and then instead of one a day, it became around 4 a day. So I thought to myself, ”there has got to be a better way instead of taking these tablets.” I discovered a diet that lowers inflammation called the ketogenic diet and that, along with intermittent fasting, I’d not only lose weight, my skin got healthier and younger looking, my hair got fuller on the top of my head, some friends think I got taller, and the sciatic nerve pain went away for good.
it was like God’s way of blessing me, as I was one of the only people working in public during the pandemic.
Three years after that, God blessed with me with a bigger more comfortable bed and my own room, that I no longer had to share with my brother.
