Whar is the Bible verse that is cited when a.person is baptized? I will be baptized soon and I ask for everyone's prayers :)

I've never been baptized.

Im anxious to be baptized :). Im excited and joyful and I have felt The Lord guiding me alwayd through my life even when for a brief moment I was astray and ignored Him I realize now that my Father never ignored me.

Great is His love and mercy. I thank The.Lord for each day and I am joyful to be guided by Him through the narrow.path.

Thank you everyone for your prayers. :)

Hey!..Im so glad that god has directed you in the right path! Praise God for that. Being baptize is so exciting. Luke 3:19, the one with more detail is Matt 3:1-12. We baptize in Jesus name..because he is the father, son and the Holy Ghost. Keep God First! :)))

Thank you everyone for your prayers. :)

I'm glad to hear that Friend of God.:)
John 15:14: Jesus calls us "You are My friends if you do whatever I command you".

This is His command:
Matthew 28:19
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

Baptism is fulfilling God's Righteousness:
Romans 10:3
For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God.

Matthew 3:15
But Jesus answered and said to him, “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him.

Plsss also read Romans 6 th chapter. I would be happy to share more things about Baptism if you want to know more.:)

At baptism they will ask your confession of your belief.( some churches do)

Also they will quote few verses like:

Mark 16:15-16.
And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Romans 6:4-5
Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection,

I have prayed for you as im posting this Reply to you:)

Hi Mr. Honest! I'm so happy for you :)

Yes, the Baptism ceremony is special indeed. Praying that your enthusiasm will reach those that witness your 'being washed white as snow' :)
