Confessing my trespasses

One thing that is really on my mind and heart is my current living situation. We’re in violation of our lease. We opened our home to someone about 6 months ago and we’re not supposed to have anyone stay longer than a week without approval. We never sent in for approval and he’s still here.

Second, a buddy of mine was trying to get out of the place he was living at the time. We discussed having him apply, etc. His landlady one day left him stranded at the store and put 90% of his belongings outside the house. We brought him over and his items to our place and he’s been here since.

After a talk with my mom&dad about my current living situation, i had a discussion with my roommates about getting on the lease so we can make things right since it is something We’re currently in violation of. Everyone agreed. It took a week or so of communication with our renter’s agency to get the ball rolling, but we finally got communication. One isn’t responding and I hardly ever see him. The other is trying to get some things squared away with the last landlady to move forward.

There are more sides to this, but at end of the day I’m acknowledging my fault in this and want to make things right. I don’t quite know how to handle this.

Asking for prayer.
