I need help, social problems....

Guys, for years I've been having social problems, i dont know whats wrong with me. I just want to be able to contribute in conversations and have some connection with people, and not to be so fearful, unconfident, and insecure. I just want to be free! I want to get married someday, I want to make a difference in this world, I want to do somethingg.... I don't think God would ever answer any of my prayers, but maybe God will help me for one of your sakes. Please guys... I need help. Even if you have advice. I think I may need professional help. I CANNOT LIVE LIKE THIS.

Eheh, I'm like that too a lot of the times. But the rare times I talk to people is when someone's alone or I'm not that nervous. If you're talking to people, just know the worst thing they could probably do after you talking to them is reject you or not talk to again. But yeah, I probably shouldn't be saying that since I have my own problems, lol. I'll be keeping you in prayer.
And if you ever feel like talking to someone, like you're actually thinking about it for more than 10 seconds, go for it! ^^ Sorry, not much help...

Limbsy, you may have SAD, social anxiety disorder. Don't hesitate to see someone, I do, and I'm relatively normal and sometimes charming

And I also want to add as food for though, not everyone is meant to be gregarious/outgoing. Sometimes the most interesting and thoughtful people are those that are slow to speak and quick to listen

Nothing can separate you from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Don't lose heart. There's lots of books out there about carrying on conversations. Dale Carnegie has a book "How to Win Friends and Influence People." Maybe study up on it a little bit. I just finished school last January. It was hard, but it has also boosted my confidence. There are many community classes that don't cost that much. You could get out there and begin to interact with people. If you should say or do something that isn't the best, don't mentally beat yourself up. Everybody messes up now and then.

Hey limbsy, If it would make you feel better maybe you should get some counseling. It never hurts anything. Counselors are great people, and they always have the best advice!

I spent a lot of my life like that. Get close to God. You have to know God will answer your prayers if you get close to him. Know that it's the devil trying to make you feel your not good enough. Tell him to get away from you in the name of Jesus

I m like that around people and dont like being social on alot of occasions..........but I have learnt....be yourself!!!!
