I've been without a job since the end of 2016 due to various circumstances. I really, really want to get another job but I'm in a catch 22 situation because I have no sitter for my daughter and I cannot get childcare assistance until I have a job because I'm starting from absolutely nothing. My parents help when they can and I while I do appreciate all they do, I just wish I was able to provide for my daughter and I. Please pray for us. I'm very frustrated with this. I don't know what to do.

I have said a prayer for God to address this situation. The bind that your in is not uncommon. Don't worry, something will work out. Yes, I understand that it can be frustrating. Get the job first, tell them that you can start in a week and during this week get the child care assistance. You are fortunate in that your parents help out doing what they can. It's not so bad if you think about it.
Although I do not have a kid, I am in a very similar situation as yours. It sucks. Someone pointed out that certain people go through life oftentimes with the short end of the stick. Why? They don't know. Neither do we. God does, though. I don't know when you'll get a job. Continue to put your trust in God, though. I know it's a lot easier said than done, especially when there's a kid involved.

How about working from home, until you can find a job?

-- Type papers.
-- Answer phones for small businesses. (Call forwarding.)
-- Stuff envelopes.
Or, if your daughter is old enough to go with you:
-- Walk dogs.
-- Deliver pamphlets/papers.
-- Run errands.
-- Shovel snow.
-- Weed gardens.
-- Do laundry.
-- Type papers.
-- Answer phones for small businesses. (Call forwarding.)
