Please keep my Grandma Emilia in prayer as she's not doing too well. She's eating very little and has loss weight .We've been trying to put her back in the hospital so she could get therapy but they're so many complications coming up.I don't know what the LORD's will is in this situation.I worry that maybe He's going to take her home, which would'nt be a bad thing as she would be with Jesus .At the same time of course I don't want her to go and she could still recover with therapy. Please pray that the LORD would help her to start eating more so she could regain her strength if it be His will and that she would get therapy on her leg and arm .In Jesus Name Amen

Just a quick update.Today the hospice doctor came to see her and he examined her .He said he couldn't do anything to release her from hospice .We finally contaced my grandma's regular physician .He said she was no longer under his care because hospice took over. This is frustrating. My grandma needs help. Please Lord heal her or open the door for her to get help.On top of all this I might be on the verge of losing my job
I'm being given the next two days off to see if my co worker is faster than me at my job.Lord how much more must I endure ?Please give me that peace that surpasses all understanding and have mercy on us.In Jesus Name Amen

Gosh Mario,

So sorry to hear about your grandma and your job situation. :(

What you describe is the way the system works.

When you place a person in hospice, you're agreeing to not intervene with their care. The person is at the end of life and hospice's purpose is to make their passing as comfortable as possible. They still come and check vitals and offer the medications they need depending on their particular condition.

But they don't do anything to improve their health because the person is dying and in their thinking, there's no way for them to get well.

That's why the patient doesn't see a doctor or go to the hospital; because they are placed in hospice. It's a gentle caring facility to help families with their loved ones who are dying.

Dear Lord, I pray for Mario and his grandmother.

I'm not sure how to pray Lord, but you know all about this situation and we ask that you intervene. Please help Emilia to have the best care possible.

And Lord we believe that you can heal her as well. How wonderful it would be if you would completely heal her of all her ailments and she could return home.

Please give Mario the peace he's asking for and please protect his job. Please Lord help those that are in charge of his acceptance or dismissal see the value in keeping him on. And please help Mario be the best employee he can be. May he shine brightly as to Your goodness, Your love and Your forgiveness among his co-workers.

Please do a miracle in all of their lives and may you receive the glory and praise for answered prayer. In Jesus' name, amen.

Hugs, Mario. I know this isn't an easy time, but keep trusting God with your grandmother and with your job. As you're crying out to our Lord, He sees your anguish and He hears your prayers. Allow His peace to come over you as you put your total trust in God.

The thing is my Grandma isn't terminal.Sge wasn't given a timetable. The only reason she's on hospice is that it would've cost $3000 a week to keep her in the facility she was in and they would've put a lean on our house. This is a long nightmare that won't end.

It does sound complicated. Just a suggestion here. Can’t she go home and then she can get home health care and receive PT?

She’ll need someone to live with her of course. But you have her in the wrong facility. They are not allowed to treat her. You need to get her out of there. I’ll pray that you find a way for her to receive the proper care she needs. God still can and does miracles.

Does she have insurance or Medicare? Or Medicaid?
