One of my friends and his family is going through a lot right now. His mom has cancer. I don't remember what kind, but it has gotten to the point that the doctors are saying there is nothing more they can do for her. She has three sons and a wonderful husband, as well as a church that has banded together for her. We are her prayer warriors, but we could always use more warriors. Here is a message that just went out to all of us.

Now
My Dear Warriors,
Robin Daley has finally reached consistency, though this new stability is not one that is desired. Aside from trips to the E.R. for coughing up blood (due to fluid in her lungs), Robin remains at home. She's never fully comfortable and she's never fully without pain. I very much wish I had better news to report or that I could write it out so that it sounds better than reality. I will refrain from doing this. The only news I can honestly give to you all is that there's really nothing more the doctors can do. I hate that my fingers have to type this out and I hate that this is what's happening. It hurts me like I can't explain that I can't fix this for her but I must do the only thing I know to do. Pray. I ask you that you again join me.
Pray for relief from the pain. Cancer is ruthlessly evil and entirely merciless. It attacks and holds nothing back. Robin is suffering, absolutely suffering at the hands of this disease. But, above all, she is still safe in Christ's Hands, His mighty, powerful Hands. Pray for His sweet relief from the pain. For He is able to do more than we could ask or imagine.
"God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us." Ephesians 3:20
Pray for sweet memories for her and her family. These past 9 months have been the hardest of months for the Daley’s. Hospital stays, E.R. trips, treatments, and trying to be a normal family all in between. This has been their life. But as the days become harder and more difficult, pray for lasting memories for this family. Pray for moments between her and her husband, Bill. Pray for moments between her and her precious boys, Trenton, Logan, and Gaven. They have been each other's greatest support and now just pray God's loving arms to wrap around the entire family.
"The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Psalm 34:18
Pray, lastly, for a miracle. Doctors hold no limitations for Christ's power. I know how terrible the situation is. I know how much the cancer has spread. I know the chances of a healing. I look away from the medical reports and look up to the Healer. His plan may still be to rescue Robin Daley from cancer and restore her life with her family. His plan, however, may also be to rescue her from cancer and bring her into His glorious presence. I don't know what will happen. I just pray for a healing, regardless of what kind.
"He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies." Psalm 103:3-4
as always, overwhelm the Daley’s with your words of love and prayers. If you would like their address, please message me. And remember the Robin's Warriors verse:
"But me, I'm not giving up.
I'm sticking around to see what God will do.
I'm waiting for God to make things right.
I'm counting on God to listen to me." Micah 7:7
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I am asking that you lift her up in continuous prayer. Please be a Robin's Warrior.
