I would like to ask for prayer for a new out reach ministry i am involved with, it came about from our preachers challenge for our Church deacons to come up with a ministry that we could take out side the walls of our Church.The ministry has evolved the last year and is called the Camo Christians "Sportsman for Christ" We all seem to have the same problem of trying to talk to people about God and we found if you have a common interest platform such as the outdoors ,hunting, fishing,camping ect that it is very easy to strike up conversation with folks about these type of activities which has also alowed us to talk to them about what God has done for us. It has been very successful well i knew it would be due to the fact that everything you do for God will be blessed acording to his will. We have gone to several local sporting shows and gave out over 5000 Bibles.And we have had the oppurtunity to take our group to several youth camps where we have set up activities such as archery shooting,pellet guns range,slingshot targets, and casting for accuracy for fishing, while giving a short divotional time at each station. God has blessed us so much this year but i would like to ask for your prayers for an event coming up,we have the oppertunity to reach thousands of people over one weekend. The event is the West Virginia Hunting and Fishing Days the last weekend in September. Our congregation has pesonalized each and every pocket sized Bible and we are hoping to place over 2000 of these Bibles into the hands of people and we would like to ask for prayer that God may reach down and touch each individual who recieves them.i would also like to ask for prayer for each individual who will be volunteering to witness to people and ask for God to give us the words and incourgment to approach people during this event and to help us win some souls to build up his kingdom.
