With 10 large wildfires currently burning up millions of acres in our state, Colorado needs massive prayers for the families that have lost their homes, and the hundreds that have been evacuated from their homes. Pray for the firefighters from all over our state and surrounding states who are risking their lives to battle these fires. Please pray that the winds will die down and that the fires can be contained quickly. Please pray for the thousands of others with lung problems who are effected by the massive amounts of smoke in the air in our states and all of the other states the wind is blowing the smoke in to... The air is hazy and thick with it.

Also, PLEASE pray for RAIN!!!! Our state is soooo hot and dry right now, it seems as if there is no relief in sight for us. The rain would help so much and cut down on the fire danger.

Right now there are fire bans in every part of the state prohibiting any type of open fires, even charcoal grills because the tiniest sparks can light up things so easily! It even looks like most of the state is not even going to be able to have fireworks displays on the 4th of July because it is too likely that they could start fires too easily if stray sparks land on any dry ground.

More fires breaking out today, adding another to the list here in Colorado near Boulder.

32,000 people evacuated from homes in and near Colorado Springs from the Waldo Canyon fire including the entire United States Air Force Academy. This fire has been prioritized as the #1 most 'deadly' fire in the entire S right now because of the amount of homes and businesses that are threatened as it is so close to Colorado Springs... Many of the out-lying suburbs have been completely emptied.

Prayers so desperately needed for everyone in the state. It's been confirmed that the High Fire near Ft Collins has burned almost 300 homes.

The firefighters that are helping battle these blazes from all over the US.

Oh my this is very scarry! I will certainly keep colorado in my prayers. I know from expirience how powerful these wildfires can be and how distructive. I witnessed the 2003 and 2007 southern California fires. Literally had a mountain ablaze a bout a few miles away visible from my back yard. Seriously was one of the most frightening things to live through. God Bless

Even more fires breaking out today here in Colorado... There is now an estimated 10,000 acres burning in western Colorado between Grand Junction and De Beque. Also one in Eagle County near Eagle/Vail.

There was even a small one that broke out about a mile away from my town in a field near a friends house, but luckily they were able to control and put it out quickly enough to not burn any homes- just some outlying barns and structures were threatened. About 5 acres were burned there and everyone in our area is so grateful for the quick response by our local fire fighters.

So much dry vegetation all over the state, and lots of 'heat lightning' as well as lightning from thunderstorms have mostly been the cause of most of the fires, though it has been confirmed that several of the fires are believed to have been started by arson.

1 Death was reported in the Waldo Canyon Fire, the massive fire burning currently near Colorado Springs.

We had a bad drought here in TX, last year was horrible,I learned a lot from it, about stretching of faith (always heard about it, but didn't fully understand). Sometimes we have to declare or decree it, stand on the word and believe it, like Elijha, the mountain moving faith in God
Father we thank you for rain for Colorado, we thank you already for it, in Jesus name amen

Praying for NO WIND and for rain clouds to form; also for protection for everybody. I'm in the midwest and I think we're heading for the same problem.

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

FATHER IN THE NAME OF JESUS WE STAND TODAY ACCORDING TO YOUR WORD, YOUR EVERLASTING WORD, YOUR PROMISE TOGETHER WE STAND IN AGREEMENT THAT YOU ARE ABLE, as we humble ourselves to pray and seek your face and repent for the sin of our nation, for the sin over colorado, every wickedness, every abominations and we have " sin and done this evil in thy sight, that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest and be clear when thou judgest" Merciful God in the name of JESUS open up the flood gates of heaven, flood COLORADO in three days through the power of the HOLY SPIRIT, show YOURSELF to the nations that you are still the SAME YESTERDAY when you rebuke the storm, still the same today when you open up the windows of heaven and flood COLORADO in three days and still the same in the future when you will pour out your HOLY SPIRIT and REVIVE COLORADO AGAIN as the its former glory, revival and revival call GODS revival, with no human origin but divine and holy outpouring. Father we agree, many will agree in the name of Jesus and in the power of the Holy Spirit AMEN>
