Please pray for me. One times I was off for three months, the next time was 7-8 weeks, and the last time was one month. Now I can't seem to get off, I have given my life to Christ and I have given him the control of my life, but I keep falling and pursuing the idol of porn. Help me, I know that Christ is with me and I know that he loves me. But there are times I just want to leave this Earth and go to heaven, times I want the rapture to occur now, and also because Satan has set up a wall that seems to be standing even when we take our spiritual hammers to knock down the Berlin Wall of Satan through God's power. I thank God for Christian Chat and for fellow believers. I hope that if anyone here has this addiction I hope that this prayer will help them to reach out and expose their sin to everyone on this website. God bless. Just pray for me, please don't comment on my situation. Say pray for me and/or give verses to combat this. Thanks.

I am praying for you. You will need prayer and fasting in the spirtual sense but you also need to take some practical steps. You should install software that will prohibit access to these sites and avoid anything that causes you to go in the direction of your addiction. Occupy yourself with other things, study, fellowship, activities that place you in the public. We all have cravings from the flesh in different forms....this is yours.

1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.

Psalm 119:37 Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things;
and give me life in your ways.

TOTALLY FREE software

What this does is monitor your internet use and then every 2 weeks it emails the person you nominate with a list of only the suspect sites.
To beat this problem you WILL need an accountability partner. Someone you trust and someone close enough to you that they can be blunt and directly confront you if their email shows anything dodgey.
Without someone else assisting you you probably won't be able to beat this. You need to front up and face it head on.

Your computer will still be able to access everything, but you will know that your friend will read it. The idea is to deter you from wanting to view it, not to block you from it. You have to condition yourself to avoide it on your own, not by letting a program do it for you.

Wishing and praying for all the best.
