Over the past two days I have not been able to talk. My throat is incredibly sore and swollen and when I cough it just increases how much it hurts.
I've tried cough drops, and medicine, and tea but none has helped.
Pray this get better soon >. <

I know the feeling. My throat was sore for a couple of days last week and it hurt every time I coughed? How long have you had it? I pray you get better and hope it's not serious

It may be strep throat if it's not improving. You may need to see the doctor for antibiotics. Praying for you now!

All the best to you!

Try a spoonful of honey and gargling with salt water. If this persists I would go see a doctor and find out what is going on. I will be praying.

Blessings!

If there is swelling then you definitely must go to a doctor.

Last night I had a severe pain in my throat. I twice had two large tablespoons of honey and one of coco oil. Thankfully, this treatment and a good night's sleep took the pain away. Consider this home remedy if there is no swelling.

Be well!

I think there may be swelling because it is harder to breath than usual ... I may go to a doctor

A few days. It's just started out as a headache which went away with pain meds, and yesterday my voice went away and my throat got sore but it didn't hurt drastically like it does niw, and then I was up all night coughing, and today it hurts a lot...

I will be praying for you. I went through the same thing a few weeks ago, and thankfully, I was better after a few days. I didn't take any medicine, but I loaded up on Vitamin-C. The best medicine that I ever used for a sore throat in the past was in a plastic bottle in blue liquid form and I bought it at Walmart, but I can't remember the brand name. It may have been this or was something similar.

I'd say 99,9 % of the time it is just a natural side effect of coughing / the inflammation of a cold or flu virus.

PS: If it IS a cold, antibiotics won't do anything,as they kill bacteria, not viruses. (And incorrect use is the reason for so many resistant bacteria appearing in our days)

Try to find a more efficient cough medicine? I find that Cosylan helps (dunno if it is called that over there), it contains Ethylmorphine, so beware if you need to operate heavy machinery
