Thank you Oyster for doing this. I admit that my first reaction to threads such as this is not to share the Gospel, but rather to post some "snarky" response. All people, regardless of motives, need the Gospel and need Jesus. I can learn a lot from you.

If Jesus WERE to return as a woman, it would really make the day of those who claim that "the future is female". But, to their chagrin, Jesus will return "in like manner" as it is written in Acts. He is not "God the Daughter".

The way I understand Scripture, the new Jerusalem is described in Revelation as having no sun or moon. The reason for that is because God Himself will be the Light for the city. The city will be located on the new earth. As it is, we currently have a sun and moon............

God is still on His throne. I like/liked most of Trump's policies, but there are aspects of his personality which I don't personally care for. I don't look to him to be some kind of "hero" or "savior". That's not to say that the indictment doesn't bother me. It just doesn't matter to me...

I lean pre-trib rapture, but I am not absolutely certain that a rapture WILL take place. I am willing to entertain other viewpoints, although that doesn't necessarily mean I'd change my current viewpoint.

Common sense tells us that removing weapons is just a band-aid or short-term fix. It doesn't get to the root of the problem. Besides, law-abiding gun owners/users don't go shooting up places.
