The Kerygma - God's Requirement for Salvation

Simply put, in order for God to demonstrate His justice to those spiritual beings who are watching what is going on with humans on earth, no one is worthy except Christ and all are condemned to damnation except Christ. To demonstrate His mercy, God the Father saves a few. Christ died for...

The Kerygma - God's Requirement for Salvation

There are no requirements for salvation because the Father chooses to whom he will bestow His grace. John 1: 13 Who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. If you are asking what has to happen in order to receive salvation, the answer is you...

    What Changed?

God judges the hearts of men. He doesn't have to judge the works because with a perfect heart, righteous works will follow.

    What Changed?

That is why we need to be born again. When we are baptized in the name of the Holy Spirit, the Father and Son fill our being with their presence to fill our hearts with the same love that they share so that our motivation for living is changed from love of self first to love of God first and all...

Please help me to respond to some of my non-trinitarian friends

Are you preaching modalism which is considered heresy by the Church before the Council of Nicea in 325 AD? Modalists believe that there is only one God with three different masks or roles (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit).

    What Changed?

The question is, if Adam sinned, why doesn't just he get punished. What do we have to do with Adam's sin? The answer is: The Bible states that where there is no law, there is no transgression. Adam eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil gave him the knowing of what is right and...

Please help me to respond to some of my non-trinitarian friends

Not really. According to my friend, there are a lot of truths in your post. IOW IMO, Jesus is God visible in the human dimension (the ultimate theophany) According to my friend, our reality is in the mind of the Father. The Father creates many realities, and in our reality, the Father first...

Hi GWH. I'm trying to understand. If Jesus was the almighty Father, would you kindly explain spiritually how Jesus Christ is a mediator between himself and mankind?

Please help me to respond to some of my non-trinitarian friends

If Jesus was the almighty God, the Father, and also human, then we have a single point. In that case there is no inbetweeness and a mediator would still not be necessary. Since there is a mediator, the three points are uniquely distinct.

Please help me to respond to some of my non-trinitarian friends

Three collinear distinct points are necessary for there to exist betweeness. If Jesus was the Father or God Almighty, a mediator would not be necessary. Just common sense.

Please help me to respond to some of my non-trinitarian friends

The definition of betweeness is a point on a straight line that is inside two distinct points on that same line. The two distinct points are God and mankind and Jesus Christ is in between as a mediator.

Please help me to respond to some of my non-trinitarian friends

Does anyone think that my friend is not saved if he believes that our reality is in the mind of the Father and the Father creates many realities. The first being created in our reality was His Son and our reality was created by the Father through through His Son (who sits on His right Hand) and...

    Acts 16:31

I would like to refer you to John 14: 13-14 And whatever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it. What is asked for is not for material things but what will glorify the Father. After living, dying...

    Studying the Gospel of Matthew

Do Jews still keep a record of their genealogy? If not, then the messiah that they are waiting for would not be able to prove that he came from the line of David like Jesus did.

Im new here. I need some help regarding 1 Corinth 11:14

1Cor 3: 16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? Paul was filled with the Holy Spirit of God. Sometimes the Son speaks his own words, and sometimes the Son speaks the words of the Father. John 16: 13 Nevertheless, when he, the Spirit of truth...

    The Gospels and the Mystery

Salvation is a state of being, full of godly love. The good works come automatically when your motivation for every thought and action is love for God first and all others as we love ourselves.

Did Jesus Die on The Cross for The Just/Elect/Saved Whose Names Are Written in The Book of Life OR

Here is a nutshell of what is going on: We are all born under the Law because all humans inherit the knowledge of good and evil from Adam and Eve. From birth, the motivation for living is self above all else. We are all guilty (except Jesus) and are condemned to eternal damnation. The Father...

    Love

For those that experience the same love that the Father and Son share, it is easy to agree to your statement. After all, the Father did send His Son to suffer death for us and Jesus did allow himself to die for us. For those who do not have the same experience of this godly love in their heart...
