Yes, I love God and obey Him with genuine love, but this is only because by His grace, in which He changed my heart and gave me new desires. The way you are putting it seems as if it stems out of human pride almost. We can't love God without intervention from God.

And the ones who are Christian are only wanting God because God gives them the desires that are good ones.

God gives us new desires, but we still have the sinful desires as well.

We do have free will and at the same time God changes our desires, what we want. And we free willingly choose those desires God gives us.

    Truth, love, and patience.

I'm not sure what you mean. Are you saying we are to heal the sick and cast out demons?

That's definitely a good point! I've learned that no matter how mature or immature your group is, it is always good to preach the gospel. I do see that. I can also see that with the story of the blind man. It makes me think of that story. Thanks for your insight! May God bless you!

Anger doesn't come from God, but God can take away that anger by the power of the Spirit. Can you give me a verse that supports your claim, "we can Block or Hinder God from Comforting us"?

I agree with most of what you are saying, but it is true though, that ultimately God uses all for His glory. Can we really block God from His comfort us? And we always need God. By the Holy Spirit, God can soften our hearts even in our most angry moments. So I'm curious what you mean.

Don't make notes for me to read off of? God uses things like that to help us. Based on what you are saying, I might as well not prepare for it at all.

Surely! I agree that is a common problem amongst teenagers to want things to happen on their timing, but we must remember that God has foreordained all of this for our good and ultimately His glory. That can definitely be a hard thing to except especially in that stage of growth. It feels also...

I completely agree! The most important question in life is that will you accept Jesus as Lord and trust in Him alone for salvation? That will surely be a part I will try to impute into my little recap sermon. It's a recap sermon reinforcing the main points. I'll also watch how our pastor does it.

I used to make that kind of mistake, for example, "Believe in God or go to Hell!!!!". Things like that. Yes, prayer is very important. I pray and ask God everyday to strengthen me in His love and Word; to continue to sanctify me and conform me to His image so that I will be able to discern what...
