    The offer of Salvation is universal, but the application is only : "by Faith".

    That was quite a long reply to my one word response of 'exactly'. I was responding to @Runningman 's statement of "worth noting, some people espouse Calvinistic doctrines and don’t realize it; ". Maybe you didn't understand his statement? It was what happened in my case, I had read Ephesians...

    Your case would be a bit more palatable if it wasn't seasoned with ad hominems.

    @Jackson123 (still waiting)... "How much fruit do you need to produce until you are saved"?

    Firefox & CC

    For several years I was able to view CChat on Firefox. In the last few weeks, I have had to use a different browser. Has there been some kind of technical change with CC causing this kink?

    Before I answer your question, please answer this one I had asked you the other day which was never answered.... "How much fruit do you need to produce until you are saved"?

    I think you have the Day of the Lord confused with the rapture. The antichrist is revealed before that great and terrible day. Jesus comes after the Tribulation.

    The offer of Salvation is universal, but the application is only : "by Faith".

    GT is short for the Great Tribulation. (Christians today will already be raptured by that time). The nations will be judged by how they treated Christ's brethren (the Jews) during the GT. We have already passed out of judgment into life (Jn 5:24)

    Yes I am a Christian first and an American second and I won't be there at the judgment of the Sheep and the Goats.

    The offer of Salvation is universal, but the application is only : "by Faith".

    It has nothing to do with todays Christians as they have passed from condemnation to life (Jn 5:24). It's a judgment of the nations (v.32), as to how they treated the Jews during the GT.

    The offer of Salvation is universal, but the application is only : "by Faith".

    The basic point of confusion is not knowing the difference between 'law' (what we must do) and 'Gospel' (what God has done in Christ for us and for our salvation). This was clear in the Reformers time but a mass of confusion today.

    LOL, my Gospel says once you have God's Spirit you won't want to kill, steal or support abortions or have adulterous relations etc.

    So your Gospel says we are saved by works? My Gospel says otherwise... Titus 3:5 (KJV) Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

    I believe we abide for fruit, not salvation. We are saved by Jesus' faithfulness, not our faithfulness.

    Please show me where I ever said we don't need to abide or believe whatever you want? Does your God also teach you to bear false witness (9th Commandment)?
