You're not understanding baptism and the reason and necessity of it. Very clearly, baptism is NOT because of the remission or sins going back to John's baptism. Acts 22:16 16And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

The 1st covenant was replaced by the new testament. Read Hebrews 10 which clearly says exactly that.

You can buy what ever you like, believe or disbelieve whatever you like, but the scriptures say what they say. There is a new testament which was instituted upon the death of Christ and his are his church, his earthly kingdom, which he died for and paid for with his blood.
